Just what the title says. I'm trying to find some legit sites that help calculate ivermectin dosage rates in US measures. Please offer more than one site if possible. I have the Barnhardt site, but it's in mg/kg measures, which my dummy math-challenged brain can't get my arms around.
Thanks ahead!
Just divide the patient’s weight by 2.2 to get kilograms, then use the dosing calculator. Medicines and dosing are always done in metric.
The listings I see are in mg rather than the ml that the medicine is in.
Injections of course are very different than oral ingestion.
Not sure I see why injections should be recommended here.

How much do you weigh? If you weigh 170, that is 77 kilograms
1 kg = 2.2 pounds
1 pound = .454 kg
People drink the “injectable.”
Are you implying you have a solution that contains 1% Ivermectin? If so, what is the solution? Is it the Veterinary de-wormer (that’s usually 1.87%)?
You say injectable? Is is intravenous injection?
Ot, is it the Veterinary de-wormer (that’s usually 1.87%) that is orally injectable?
I assume the milliliter conversions are for pure water (1 mg = 1 ml), but ivermectin obviously isn’t pure water.
All medi ine is in MG doses syringes are marked that way
Go online a d find a converter put your weight it a d onvert it
Right.
Ah. Still sounds sketchy.
Why not just skip it altogether and get through your cold like everyone else seems to be?
1 % solution has 10 mg per ml
You are correct. You need help. Go get it. if you don’t know with certainty how to self medicate, then don’t.
I’m 120 lbs. I draw about 3/4 a cc into a syringe and squirt into about a cup of water and drink it down. We used it as a preventative, dosing approximately every other day, and after two and a half years, hubby and I still haven’t gotten the China flu. We took an extra dose if we have been out in a crowded area or to a doctor’s appointment.
We’ve slacked up on it lately though. Do your own research and find out if this matches what others do or what physicians who support Ivermectin recommend. I now can’t remember where we got that dosing amount from though.
The oral form such as Durvet 1.87% says 1/2 gram per 100 lbs of body weight. A 1250 pound horse would take 6 grams.
Recommended dosage is 0.2mg/kg for preventative and 0.4 - 0.5mg/kg
I used the paste which was 1.87% but the tube was in grams which made the math easier. I don't know how you would go from ml to mg.
I used calculations from Dr Lee Merritt but they're for the paste.
He’ll get reported if he asks a doctor.
Uh, apparently not.
