An elderly Wendy's customer has died 10 days after being sucker punched in the head by an employee, who is now facing murder charges for the ordeal.
Fast-food worker Antonine Kendrick, 35, confronted the 67-year-old man at the store, before punching and knocking him unconscious on July 26 at around 5pm.
It's believed Kendrick launched the vicious physical attack the man when he complained about his meal order at Wendy's in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
Kendrick has now been arrested and is facing second-degree murder charges after the man died in hospital, nearly two weeks after the bust up.
Footage shows Kendrick taking the man's order before the altercation. The 67-year-old can be seen wagging his finger before Kendrick comes out from behind the counter.
The elderly man appeared to be taking a lick of his Wendy's frosty dessert before Kendrick abruptly clocks him in the head.
Kendrick then takes a look at the victim laying on the ground before walking back behind the counter, grabbing some items, and walking away.
The horrific strike caused the elderly man to collapse on the floor and lose consciousness, officials said.
He was then airlifted to hospital, where he remained in critical condition for 10 days.
But the elderly man sadly died from his wounds on August 5.

You wish can only be possible if the perp ever sees prison. Not in today’s world.

Hope he does hard physical labor prison time outside in the hot AZ desert sun on a daily basis.
I wrote this the other day when this story broke. If I was next in line that clerk would have been ventilated. “Gee officer, I thought he was about to come after me too! I was in fear of my life.”
African Americans, blacks, people of color..whatever... DO NOT directly address as a community the level of
violence & crime they cause not only
in their own communities but in others
as well.
You never hear Rev Al & all the other grifters talking about this .
These people need to publicly address the ditustion but it wont happen ...why?
Because they are all too busy crying rascism at every turn of a knob,; crying and whining how unfair everything is and that their feelings are hurt. Or, the greater sin of all, never criticize your black brother- dont color out of your own lines, dont be a “ oreo”...sad to say... Eric Adams is the perfect example of that.
Many had high hopes for cleaning up NYC and reducing the crime rate.

Likely hate crime, will never be investigated as such.
The main target of punishment will be the $120 million or so that Wendy’s is going to have to shell out. The guy will get off with about 5 years prison, followed by probation.
One of the problems with our justice system is that the crime and punishment are separated by so much time that no one even remembers the crime by the time the trial takes place.
I feel sad for you if you look at every black person in a store that way. Your world is very small and restrictive indeed.
