A former flight attendant alleges that she was fired by Delta Air Lines for posting a photoshopped image of former President Donald Trump wearing a Ku Klux Klan hood on her Facebook page.
Leondra Taylor, a black woman, alleges that the April 2021 dismissal was “racially motivated,” according to Insider.
A spokesperson for the Atlanta-based airline told The Post: “When Delta employees intermix Delta’s brand with conduct or content that does not reflect our values of professionalism, inclusion and respect, that conduct can result in discipline or termination.”
“While personnel issues are considered private between Delta and its employees, the circumstances described by our former employee are not an accurate or complete explanation of the company’s termination decision,” the spokesperson added.
Taylor claims in her lawsuit that she posted an image on Facebook depicting Trump and Joe Biden during one of their presidential debates in 2020, according to the report by Insider, which says it obtained a copy of the court filing.

Well, bye.
How do they hold such certainty about these lies? The democrats funded the KKK in response to the formation of the Republican Party. When they say the sides flipped, laugh at them. What, did the party leaders agree to flipping positions? The whole thing is ridiculous, but we’re talking about democrats here, so…
“Leondra Taylor, a black woman”
Shouldn’t that read. “Leondra Taylor, a Very Ignorant black woman? Probably way too ignorant to be a Flight Attendant.
“Ironically, I’m sure she is a Democrat, which party used the KKK as their paramilitary arm.”
Now they have the FBI. You know, the American Stassi.
So glad I’m refried...err...retired.
Her act was despicable. However, I defend her right to do so as I defend the rights of conservatives to legally attack the left with satire, “Let’ Go Brandon.” If she broke no laws and it was done on her own time and not Deltas, she deserves compensation.
Before wokeness took over corporate America, I would agree with you. But considering all the conservatives who been sacked for far lesser offenses, I will just have to close with the remark that the sword of wokeness can cut both ways.
yes, I agree.
Leondra Taylor is racially motivated not a good one to have in the company she may have said who she worked for or had the uniform on in a post.
I saw something similiar to this, but the claim was rooted in he was attracted to white women and took stronger actions against black females while giving more grace to whites.
A good friend of mine who is black calls people like this “no good House N******”. I only say “N-word” with him on the rare times the issue comes up. He says it’s ok with him if I use the word. I’ve said, no thanks, I’ll at least wait until I’m retired and don’t plan to work anymore.
That’s nice. Delta can still rot in hell.
So. Free speech for Alex Jones and Joe Rogan but not for her.
This black racist's post was 'racially motivated.'
I’m sure that as a flight attendant, Delta has language in it hiring and retention policies against acts that could portray Delta in a negative light or affect business. The racial equivalent of “moral turpitude” if you will...
I agree, but I doubt she is telling the truth about why they fired her.
Her post was racially motivated.
“they would fire her for misusing their brand identity.”
Definitely. I think that has held up in court before. Seriously jeopardizes their ability to conduct business.
Of course it has worked the other way, too. People posting on their personal sites and being fired for that.
I worked with a manager who had to discipline a guy who was from one of the Indian tribes in Alaska. The guy screamed about bigotry, racism, etc. My manager turned around the family picture on his desk. ALL of his children were Indian — Aleut, I think. Adopted four of them.
Wind out of his sails.
Don’t care.
If she said it on her PERSONAL page and not in any official Delta capacity then she had the right to say it.
I abhor cancel culture in all its forms.
