It takes just a few seconds and a really strong magnet to break into most electronic safes (I assume Trump has a modern safe).
They operate with a solenoid actuated locking device and all you have to do is place the magnet on the solenoid and move it back and the locking pin moves back.

I always believed and LEO friends have confirmed that if it wasn’t listed in the warrant it could not be used as evidence against you. If it was blatantly illegal to possess, e g an unlicensed hand gun in NYC, it could be confiscated but not used to charge you. I hope Trump’s lawyers are better than Powell and Giuliani.

So what degree of politicization of the FBI and DOJ is acceptable?
The FBI was not there to gather evidence against Trump, they were there to collect evidence that Trump was going to use against them.
