So, unless those items were listed on the warrant, this was merely a strong armed robbery. That could change things a bit.
That sounds like a plausible theory to me.
Since the safe was the target, and Erik Trump (?) said it was empty, could that have been a set up to find the mole in the house, I wonder?
Trump is unpredictable. He thinks outside the box.
I saw another story on this but did not give it to much credence until this story broke.
Was there more than one copy? If so, where oh where could it be?
Trump should come out and say - yes I have those documents of course.

For arguments sake let’s say this is true. It may be an indication that they are afraid they are going to lose the House and an actual investigation takes place. Trump holding this info will be clear and present danger to these treasonous bastards.
They were informed the docs were in the safe. They broke in the safe...then Eric Trump released a statement that the safe was empty. Lol, I’ll bet the docs are somewhere safe and sound. So will the corrupt DOJ.
I don’t think that anyone said that the safe was empty. Eric Trump said “there was nothing in it”. My interpretation of that is that there was nothing in it of value to the FBI.
