It is hardly a surprise that the FBI has now raided the Mar-a-Lago in Florida in a move being decried by Ron Desantis as akin to the actions of a banana republic. Indeed, given the nonstop witch hunt which we have beheld since 2015, I am honestly surprised it took the Biden administration this long to find a corrupt DC judge willing to rubberstamp a warrant as part of an all too obvious fishing expedition.
Liberals are cheering this move, sadomasochistically hoping to see Trump in a cell. While they are unlikely to get their wish, it is funny to see them repeatedly point out that "a judge signed off on the warrant" as though this has held any legal meaning since the FISA revelations we saw years ago.
While I doubt that anything legally actionable will be found in Trumps' Mar-a-Lago safe (absent evidence planting), it is clear that this is a reprehensible and very dangerous intimidation tactic by a dying globalist regime lashing out at its critics, and it should in no way be sanctioned or tolerated. While it is admirable that people almost immediately began protesting near Trumps' Florida residence that alone will do effectively zilch in this case.
What will do something is re-electing Donald Trump and completely destroying the neoconservatives within the GOP, such as Liz Cheney, who continues to make pig noises resembling human speech, dragging her corpselike war happy daddy out to campaign for her while yammering about the need to charge Donald Trump for entirely unrelated matters so far beyond the pale that the failure of the J6 committee may have been the impetus behind this farce of an FBI raid.
But Donald Trump doesn't seem particularly concerned about the raid. Other than calling it persecution (which it is) his primary reaction was attending a rally to campaign for Sarah Palin, all the way in Alaska.
It is probably not coincidental that the massive cringe of the "Dark Brandon" meme (which got off to a very rocky start) and the impending failure of the J6 committee happen to overlap almost perfectly with this raid, either.

I am so ashamed of the FBI. I actually grew up respecting them. The only good FBI agents are the whistleblowers. The rest are liars, self righteous cheaters(Strzok), thugs and agents provocateur. AND WORST OF ALL, DEMOCRATS!!!
I hope that the lefties have outsmarted themselves by making it easier for Ron DeSantis to run. 45 was great but he needs to step aside for someone younger. As Bracken has said: if Trump runs again, 10 million or so dem voters will come out to vote against him, that might stay home if DeSantis is running.

I think most of us grew up in a time when respect for the FBI was high.
The Weavers and the Branch Davidian incident ended that for me.
They killed people in plain sight, for no other reason than that they did not
like them, and they had the power to do so.
Then they testified on Capital Hill, and you’d have thought they were the
abused ones.

It’s time to pull the plug and stipulate that a past history in the FBI eliminates
you from further law enforcement involvement, even as a consultant.
The author of this article was surprised that it took them this long to find a federal judge willing to grant such a warrant. It's possible that some pink haired lunatic called in a "tip" claiming to have witnessed something illegal at the Trump residence. In that case, a judge could later claim to have signed out of caution, but if such "tips" based on media fantasies became more common, they could keep law enforcement (in this case that term is dubious) chasing ghosts.
I am fine with pulling the plug on all former FBI agents and banning them from future law enforcement. Anything short of something drastic will be doomed to failure. I don’t want to ever be around one of the former agents.
I did meet a secret service agent in the spring and he seemed like a fine person. He definitely was an anti Trumper though, and was not well informed concerning what happened Jan. 6. In other words, he seemed to buy into the mainstream media version.
If he was anti-Trump, I’d have to say my opinion of him
wouldn’t be very kind.
