You expected that voting would change America without doing the hard work of securing VOTER ID and requiring all votes be legally verified and cast only by citizens? And ridding the country of RANK CHOICE VOTING. You expected to win when leftist extremists rigged the system AND YOU DID NOTHING BUT WHINE!
Well, I am in exactly the same boat. I have zero chance of making a difference. But I am trying, if only to give my heart an answer to its angst.
Very simply, all military installations/venues need only to have their Election Day voting in person, and I'm sure that the outcomes can be delivered via SECURE electronic means, while retaining the paper ballots.
If you're gonna be out of town on Election Day, then be aware you cannot vote; not difficult to understand.
As far as fingerprints; unless you're wearing rubber gloves for SOME reason, your dna/fingerprints are gonna be on any ballot you touch or handle...."secret ballot" is not even in use today, with the amount of cameras in a voting location.
I’m a registered voter and I had to show my ID to vote in the Arizona primary on Tuesday.
In-person voting at military establishments, fine, mostly. There will be people on assignments that won’t permit voting in person. Should they lose their right to vote?
Same objection concerning those who are required to be at work outside the country on Election Day. Should they be disenfranchised for that?
As for fingerprints and DNA on ballots, such information couldn’t be legally collected without a valid warrant. That’s a lot different from having the voter’s identity automatically submitted with his ballot. Cameras at polling places record that I have voted (which is on record anyway) but don’t show my actual choices.
Welcome to FR, by the way.
Get a grip.
Whatever. Your current screen name shows a signup date of May 5th of this year, and I have no way of knowing what name you might have used in the past. Nor why you no longer use it, for that matter.
If being welcomed offends you, I retract it. Have a wonderful day.
