I've had enough, I'm retiring. (Not contributing my hard earned tax dollars to this Biden bullsh** anymore.)

After 38 years working in the Information Technology / Information Security fields, I've had enough.

It's not that I hate my job (I don't) and it's not that I don't like the people I work with (I do. I think of them as family.) I just cannot stand the thought of my hard earned tax dollars going to support the most corrupt, crooked, tyrannical, incompetent, inept and damn' it, STUPID and STOLEN Presidency there ever has been, and ever will be, the Biden Crime Family.

I've informed my employer, a global financial services organization that I'm pulling the plug on August 31st.

I wanted to make it to the end of the year, I just cannot do it any longer. I will not give a single hard earned cent to the most corrupt government EVER in the history of this country any longer than I have to.

I’m 70, have worked in IT since 1978. I’m planning to retire 12/31/2022.
The government still hits you up for taxes. You financial advisor can plot it out for you.

I’m still trying to figure out what I’ll do after retirement.

If the market recovers I’m planning on heading to the house in January. If not I’ll work until I recover my loses or very close to that point. I’m a librarian and used to enjoy my job but at this point I’m last man standing in my department more than likely it will be shutdown or greatly diminished even more when I retire. Woke BS and leftist insanity is going into full overdrive.

When I started thirty years ago we had ten people and five locations and we’re down to three locations and four and a half employees. Libraries on college campuses are going mostly digital. My last co-worker and I started together and figured we would be the ones to close the doors for good and she bought out her last year and retired last year.

Move to Florida and lounge around on the beach. Have a wonderful time and enjoy your life.

Congratulations, your post made my day.

In the age of ‘feminist supremacy’ alimony shouldn’t exist.(Neither should child support)

Women are equal.

Why do they need a hand out from their former spouse?

Its amazing how much favoritism the female gender has acquired since 1964. Its mind boggling.

Enjoy your retirement, just have a hobby.

Boy, is that good advice these days. So many are retiring and pretty much just staring at their big screens or their phones.

My husband is thinking the same. Works in IT field for big company, great salary, people are like family. But he’s had enough, too. Almost took the retirement buyout two years ago, but decided to put in the time and add more retirement funds. This time around, he may just bite.

I make $239k/year. They take a TON of taxes from me.

Soon they'll get very, very little. F' em. The goal is to get as close as possible to $0 and be a burden to the Government.

That's my new mission in life.

Hell, do that before you retire! We did. :)

Already have my paperwork in the system. I am out as of early November.

Going back to my beloved swamps, gonna pull in the doormat, put up posted signs on the gate, and tack a parchment note to the stump out front sayin, “Don’t come lookin again!”.

Enjoy your retirement, just have a hobby.

I'm an avid cyclist and a Ham Radio guy.

Later this summer the GF, I and several members of our ski club will be bicycling in France.

I'm already planning on working several island locations and doing some remote ham radio trips in 2023.

I cannot wait.

Just feed the trespassers bodies to the gators and tell anyone who comes looking for 'em to get the hell off your property. :-)

Just to keep it in perspective, there are times when the woman gives the husband alimony. My sister was the bread winner. Her ex couldn’t hold down a steady job. She had to pay him alimony and then child support, until the last kid was 18. He had her over a barrel. So, it may be less frequent, but women are sometimes footed with the bill. She should’ve retired by now, but she can’t afford to. It’s kinda sad, but also due to her poor decision-making skills.

Good for you! But i gotta tell you... Retirement is a full time job!

I imagine the GF is going to keep me mighty busy. She 'n I both like to travel and we both like the same things. Where was she when I was younger and married to the wrong woman anyway?! LOL!

I'm gonna say it, consequences be damn'ed: no self respecting man would ever demand alimony from a woman.

What a puss he must've been.
