Food Ping!..........................
Tater Tots. 'nuff said.
End of season or whatever Sale!!
Ask George Foreman:-)
I’m waiting to get one for $5, or less, at a yard sale.
This is what happens when you have the most incompetent extremely stupid people in the history of humanity running the country and ruining the economy. Massive uncertainty everywhere.
The solution to the imaginary problem. Own nothing and be happy.
You’ll just rent that air fryer for $0.35 for the night. A drone will deliver it and then pick it back up.
Isn’t that convenient? No worries about buying a defective unit or having it break right after the warranty’s over. Owning is such a hassle. Just think how small your kitchen could be if you merely didn’t own any small kitchen appliances.
A $0.50 cleaning fee may apply.
That’s what the crazy left wants.
Well, their systems did exactly as programmed and now they and their vendors are screwed. Buyers and programmers absolutely refused to look at topside caps. How many of anything can you sell before the used market competes with the new market or you've really just sold the item to everyone you possibly could?
The retailers are going to force the vendors to eat some of the markdown costs.
2020 and 2021 were boom years for sales of a lot of home items. 2022 continued the trend up until about May and then it dropped off to 2019 trends. Much like 2008, expect a lot of these items to end up in desperate and glutted yard sales as we continue our decline into Jao Bai-din's recession.
Okay, time to go out and buy this stuff on sale...
That is when people like me swoop in, and get a brand new one at bargain basement prices
An air fryer is wordsmithing. That is a contradiction of terms. An air fryer is nothing more than a convection oven. If you use it below sea level, it’s an air deep fryer :).
cast iron pan works for me
Air Fryers dry out the food unless you eat it like within seconds, I tossed the only one I had a while back...Iron skills are the best.
We bought an air fryer and my wife loved it so much we bought one with a drum roaster for rotisserie. Turned out the drum roaster was perfect for coffee and we’ve used it to replace the $1,300 drum roaster I had that’s now 15 years old and only functional in cold weather. Best part is with the air fryer we can run the air fryer indoors as it seems to control the smoke much better than the coffee roaster at < 10% of the cost.
Air fryers, the bread machines of the 21st century.
We had an air fryer when they first came out. Was good but when it died we bought a Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fryer Oven. Awesome cooker.
LOL! I’m loving this thread!!
I picked up a 10 qt air fryer last week and love it. The secret is to spritz your food with good quality extra virgin olive oil (Kirkland organic is really good and fairly priced) or avocado oil. A good spritzer is also key. You want to cover it lightly, evenly, and not have a bunch of globs. “Misto” pump sprayer is very good for this. Don’t use any kind of canned aerosol oil with an air fryer. The chemicals in the propellant are hard on the non stick surface. I guess the same can be said for any teflon pan. Another reason the Misto is better.
One of the first things I tried was boneless skinless chicken thighs dipped in egg then dipped in coconut flour. Nice sweet fresh taste with a nice consistency. 13 minutes, flip at 8 minutes and spritz again.
I was in Telephony leading up to Y2K (when every telephone system only used two numbers for years and so on 1.1.2000 the systems thought the date was 1.1.1900.)
1999 was the best year ever for the company I was working for. They were have million dollar months in sales of new phone systems.
Everyone was happy ...until, 2000 and they discovered everyone that was going to upgrade or buy a new system had done so.
Part of the business was selling to existing customers (upgrading their systems). In 2000 they were left with just new sales and installations which led to massive layoffs and a couple years later going bankrupt.
In effect they ate their seed corn.
“’If you think about it, [stores are] ordering goods three, six, even nine months in advance...’”
Um. Duh. Anyone with Retail Management experience KNOWS this. 18 years, myself. (No wonder I drank, LOL!)
I’ll ‘see’ this MINOR problem and ‘raise’ them living through, ‘The 0bama Reign of Error.’
Improvise. Adapt. Overcome! It ain’t Rocket Science!
Excess Inventory is a friggin’ CAKE WALK, compared to what some of us in The Retail Trenches lived through back then!
Yeah. I know. Broken Record. But it sucked! I’m STILL fuming, and I’m Retired since 2016!
Has President Potato Head learned of their plight? I’m sure he’d be HAPPY to sign an EO ORDERING US ALL to buy more sh!t we don’t need. You know, to ‘save’ the Brandon-conomy. Or something...
