Here is what completely baffles me, both are age 78.
Compare that to bed wetter and yogert eating barely lucid Joe Biden. When you do that, Biden's inability to carry out the functions of his office and his illness become quite apparent.
As for the aged rockers, just amazing how they carry on and continue to impress.
Take the money and run............................
Filled with so many references. Love to see how lost an average millennial would be reading this.
Like they said of The Who:
“I really love it when they smash their walkers at the end of a song”...
I liked the original version he did of Fly Like an Eagle, more guitar-based than the synth-laden version. This was 3 years before the album came out.

There’s nothing like an energetic, healthy lifestyle and low-stress career to help ensure longevity.
Another 401K tour.
I never knew he was related to Les Paul. Interesting.
Never been a fan. On the other hand, it’s a chance to see an 80 year old croak out “really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree”. Decisions, decisions...
1975 or ‘76. Steve Miller (Wisconsin Boy Makes Good!) was the first big concert I ever went to. It. Was. Awesome. Laser Lights - before they were even a thing!
And the MUSIC! Steve Miller is still in my music rotation and will always be. I’ll be belting out ‘Jungle Love’ from my nursing home bed, LOL! :)
So glad I grew up when I did. I had people like Miller, as well as so many before him that were becoming legends at that time.

” a man who will celebrate his 80th birthday in 2023 shred the axe like he’s in his 20s”
I like several of Steve Miller’s songs but never considered him an ax shredder.
Fly Like an Eagle was an ideal 70’s stoner album.
I know several people that age or older who could run rings around President Depends®. There are people here who say Trump is too old. He’s not. He seems extremely lucid and energetic. It’s not about age, it is about infirmity.
Well, maybe performing helps. Big or small audiences? I played with some friends at the Ponderosa Saloon in Virginia City NV Saturday night for a 4 hour gig. Good crowd, good sound mix and seemed like we were pretty much on point. I just turned 75 and can still pick a few good notes now and then. I saw an interview with the Doobie Brothers and Michalel McDonald the other day and they’re close to my age. McDonald said when they get up to play, they’re trasported back to as if they’re 25. Yup. Didn’t really think I’d still be playing at my age but if I can and friends keep inviting me, I’ll do it. 🎸🎤
Seen this band so many times I’ve lost count...
Though admitted the last time was probably more than 10 years ago now...
Musically they were still able to play well... but his voice is long gone, even back then.
Still a great show, but if you are expecting it to hear vocals anywhere near the recordings, you wont.
SPAC is something special. I saw Elton John there in the 80s. I think it was 1987. Four and a half hours, no opening act. Guy is/was amazing.
What a beautiful place for a show.
My late father interned at a hospital in Dallas at the same time Steve Miller Sr. practiced there. He told me Dr Miller used to complain all the time that all his son wanted to do was “ play that g d guitars all the time”. LOL.
Sammy Hagar ... 74 and still rockin'!
Steve Miller changed the music industry. All musicians can thank him for the royalties they make when their music is played. He also become one of the first rock artists to earn a sizable cash advance on an album from his record company and among the first to negotiate for complete artistic control from the label.
That dude is smart.
