About a decade ago people noticed a major uptick in the amount of ammo Fedgov was buying for their agencies. Even the ones who would not normally be armed.

Oh you hater, that ammo was just for target practice!

So you buy more ammo then the US Army bought that year, which was still during a war time, and it was just for target practice.

Sure.

Honestly now. How else is the Department of Education supposed to control unruly parents at School Board meetings?

By buying these weapons and munitions the Federal Government is taking them off of the Free Market and making what remains much more exspensive for the Civilian Consumer.

This is the same crap that Obama was doing during his second term.

Buying “Assault Rifles” for every agency under the sun.including agencies that had No Law Enforcement function.

Make no mistake, these people HATE Americans that disagree with them. That’s why we have agencies like the IRS & Dept. of Education wanting “weapons of war.”

If you think voting will solve the problem you are sorely mistaken. The Tree of Liberty is in a drought.

Yeah good question. I’ve always like Massie, he had always struck me as being one of the smartest members of Congress.

I’d like to see an honest audit of where those weapons actually are. I’m sure a lot of ammo just disappeared.

The Left wants as many weapons in their hands as possible....to be used after they try to take yours away.

I can give you a partial answer. Take combat vehicles. My local sheriff took delivery of at least one, probably more upgraded armor combat vehicles which they issued to their SWAT people. I know this as their SWAT people smashed down the doors of one of my rental units to arrest an elderly couple who were supplementing their income with “50 fourteen-inch high pot plants worth $50,000.” (WAIT! How much?!) I discussed why this sort of thing happens with a manager at General Dynamics, which had a hand in some similar government sales. Here’s the answer. The US and its allies buy a limited number of vehicles and if the companies only filled those military orders, then the vehicles would be fantastically expensive. Setting up the production and continually producing them lowers the per unit price, making military budgets look substantially better. The vehicles Congress gives local police are from different budgets and therefore don’t cause heartburn when they’re bought. Likely those budgets receive little or no public oversight. The same goes with all the other warfighting equipment gifted to the police...oh, and the police of Mexico and who knows how many other countries. I think something similar is true of ammunition and small arms sales. Also, the military industrial complex lobbies hard and expensively, which I’m sure helps sales. I asked a GD salesman about why there were two corporation leads on The Future Combat Systems, which led to chaos and failure. He said, because just one company didn’t “own” enough votes to get the funding. It took two companies and all their lobbyists. (Oh...)

Armor Vehicles are excellent protection if all you’re going to do is sit in them.

Police MUST get out of the vehicles to serve warrants and make arrest or confront perps.

So…….totalitarian local governements getting their hands on Armor Vehicles are all for show. It also makes the nutcases on any given force feel cool.

Simple wait for them to exit the vehicle and the local police or Feds are back to being useless cowards.

Uvalde cops had cool stuff too.

I went to the local Social Security office in my small city when my Dad died.

Armed guards.

Couldn’t see any administrative employees.

Had to take a number with no one there.

Called to a bulletproof window with an employee speaking on a microphone.

Obama turned the civil service into non-accountable automatons sitting in bunkers.

Out of curiosity, I looked it up. Evidently the US Departments of Agriculture and Education have their own police forces. But they’re not called police officers. They’re called inspector generals, and are considered law enforcement officers.

I suppose that eventually everyone in the United States will be either be a law enforcement officer or be under the surveillance of a law enforcement officer.

Sounds like voting is "vanity and striving after wind". I don't think that way. It's too much like saying, "There's the lifeboat; but I'm not getting in; because it'll probably spring a leak. I'll wait for my yacht to come back for me."

I will vote as long as I can, and I will resist, using any means available to me. As an example: I've heard from a dozen people I know that they've signed on to be poll watchers. That's a dozen more than I ever heard speak of it before.

You will never, ever hear the Left say the words “defund the police” with reference to the dozens of Fed.gov militarized, law-enforcement agencies.

I seriously question that they are still in the US. Most likely sold/traded to foreign countries. The depths of dimmacrat treachery are unlimited.

Apparently the guy was involved in some type fraud. However, no need for the type of stuff when you could just do a traffic stop, take him into custody and go back to his house like adults.

Or they’re available for arming a civilian force, “as large and well funded as the military,” should the need arise.
