This is video is excellent in the way it describes what has actually gone wrong in corporations all around the world re: their Woke transformation.
It has apparently all come from the HR departments and their rise to power in the last decade (and more).
The HR departments are telling corporations that what created the financial crisis back in 2008 was NOT low-interest rates and lax lending standards but the way that corporate cultures were managed. Ergo, HR had the answer and that answer was to turn power over to them and let them structure corporate cultures in ways that reflected the radical ideologies bleeding out of universities (Wokeism).
“Diversity initiatives” are just another way a company avoids getting sued; they pay the “race/gender tax” by putting enough preferred people on the payroll (regardless of skills/merit), and that keeps the lawyers - and government - at bay.
That is true. They have been buying mob protection for a while too as well. HR is also implementing the demonkrap party’s initiatives and agenda in the workplace. There are no opposing voices allowed / tolerated. For example - to speak out against the imposition of personal pronouns as narcissistic crap, one can get fired for being disruptive and disrespectful per the employee conduct manual. It doesn’t flow the other way - that the imposition of this is disrespectful to those whose culture does not recognize it.
With advances in technology people with those degrees can’t even work HR jobs anymore; they might work for consultants who send victims in to harangue employees, but the company itself probably can’t waste the money on them as full-time staffers.

I work in a small startup technology company. Only about 35 of us. No HR. (This is after 23 years in Corp America of 15,000 - 35,000 people.
It is a breath of fresh air. If there’s a disagreement, we just talk to each other. No HR intervention. No PC rules. No diversity/woke-isim training. It’s soooooo nice.
And then they seem to hire ore and more Indians.
HR knows EVERY employee is a potential lawsuit, not just the freaks who want to play the opposite gender. As I pointed out, the fact that they just want to document that you were told XYZ rather than show any indication that you learned/accepted XYZ indicates the true intention: When the loonies try to get a big payday because S.P. didn’t use the right pronoun, the company will shield itself by showing the attendance of S.P. at its seminars in which employee were told they must use the right pronouns - and then the company simply sends S.P. packing.
All these policies do is push normals away from freaks - the loonies are marginalizing themselves even further.
Where I work, the first part is true. The second part is decidedly not. I'm in a high level management position and I can tell you that neither myself or my counterparts have ever wasted a minute on those silly seminars or have we ever edited our employee profiles to show our "preferred" pronouns. In fact, we laugh at that nonsense.
Basically our HR makes this content available in order to "check the box" so that our company does not become the target of the vile Left in our country. This way we can focus on our business and not get distracted by unnecessary bad PR.
The main purpose of our HR is to keep the company out of the courtroom as well as hire and retain the quality people we need to keep the business going. At least in my company, the HR department is not trying to indoctrinate anybody.
Yes, HR does meticulously document attendance at their useless (or worse) training sessions. The content of those sessions, in my experience and what I have heard described, is hard-core leftist woke-ism, and it poisons the company. To the extent that HR is able to control hiring and promotion, “Diversity Inclusion and Equity “ (DIE) is their first, last, only priority. Competence is irrelevant. I suspect that the phenomenon is worse in some industries than in others.
I’ve just never seen a qualified candidate sought by producers get shot down by HR; money talks, and the rest is theater. You may have whole non-critical departments staffed by tokens, but the leadership knows where they can fake it and where they really need talent.
Same here. I could make more now than I did 10 years ago, but I would never report to some purple-haired, low IQ, sexually confused misfit.
The work from home option (or a hybrid version), which COVID helped to expand greatly, is another thing that many employees are fighting to keep. That is one way for employees to avoid all the woke garbage in the workplace.
In the good old days, you had a department called PERSONNEL, which was supposed to handle health insurance, parking, etc., and would solicit for job openings. If a foreman wanted a drill press operator, they would provide the candidates, and the foremen would pick.
Personnel did not interfere with personal questions or look for typos or misspellings on applications, but would concern themselves with providing qualified candidates.
Then along came Human Resources, which concerned themselves with whether or not there were typos or wrinkles on the submitted resumes, and then would put those offending resumes in the garbage. Usually the people going through the submitted resumes were recent college grads who didn’t know a drill press from a turret lathe.
So, by the time the foreman got a few resumes, only God knew how many qualified candidates were dismissed because of misspellings or poor grammar.
I could go on and on with what damage was done to the hiring process with the busy-bodies and nosey HR’ers. I could go on.

I had a friend who — with his family — defected from the Soviet Union in the early ‘80s. He was a teenager at the time, just out of school. He told me stories of how the KGB staffed company’s HR departments for the purpose of keeping watch on the Russian people.
Sounds like we’re headed there ourselves…
That’s what they do. My 7-11 turned from mexican staffed to indian staff almost overnight. They only hire their own race. I have mexican friends who tell me they dont really get along with Indians. They can with Filipinos or other Asians but not them..
Eliminate ALL HR departments.
Any paperwork shuffling that they do could be handled by a secretary.
I think the purpose of the HR director in public companies is to be able to point to a fat black lady in a leadership position to “prove” diversity. They pick HR because they think it has the least potential to harm the company. What they don’t realize is this fat black lady takes the company in a woke direction, slowly destroying it. Soon you can’t hire anybody because HR slow-walks any applicant that doesn’t fit their woke agenda.
This could have been written TWENTY years ago. Part of why so many jobs go unfilled while there is still so much unemployment is that HR isn’t the slightest bit concerned with attracting employers and making it easy to apply and be accepted.
