HR knows EVERY employee is a potential lawsuit, not just the freaks who want to play the opposite gender. As I pointed out, the fact that they just want to document that you were told XYZ rather than show any indication that you learned/accepted XYZ indicates the true intention: When the loonies try to get a big payday because S.P. didn’t use the right pronoun, the company will shield itself by showing the attendance of S.P. at its seminars in which employee were told they must use the right pronouns - and then the company simply sends S.P. packing.
All these policies do is push normals away from freaks - the loonies are marginalizing themselves even further.
You are spot on. And beyond pronouns, your assessment also explains how things will work in those places where states / localities passed laws giving special employment protection for “hair styles”.
I am glad I grew up when I did, and started working a long time ago. If I were a young person today, I would learn a trade and not go to college - stay away from large corporations.
