What is really interesting is that this comes shortly after an author, Malcom W Nance, said that ‘Pubbies are becoming an insurgency.

I think is important because 1. Lemon never had an original thought in his life and 2. This probably the beginning of new segment of The Narrative. Look for entertainment media to begin pursuing similar story lines.

Through their commentary, they are already critical of the Republicans and conservative side of our politics.
Journalists need to reports facts, even inconvenient facts. They were uniformly sad when Trump was elected in 2016. Those commentators on election night 2016 make for great viewing in that regard.
More recent examples of that are the 2021 GOP victories in Virginia’s off year elections. These are facts that these people on TV need to report. If they don’t like that result that’s something we will hear about. But the fact is, the Republican party controls more states than the Democrats do.
Just to summarize, there are two major political parties in our country, and for political “journalists” to do their job, they need to report and draw these equivalencies which the likes of Don Lemon don’t like. It might be different if the GOP only got as many votes as Libertarians or Greens.
But you can’t just write off a political party whose nominee officially got about 47%, officially, of the vote in the most recent presidential election. For “journalists” to just write off that party as if they are the lunatic fringe, is to write off America itself.
Political opposition is now a crime in the eyes of homos.
