A newly released transcript of a call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron on the eve of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine reveals Putin prioritized a game of ice hockey ahead of scheduling peace negotiations with U.S. President Joe Biden.
The transcript of the Feb. 20 phone call between Putin and Macron was obtained and jointly published by AFP and the French-language publication Le Temps. The transcript revealed that during the call between Macron and Putin, the French president asked Putin to agree to meet U.S. President Joe Biden in Geneva, Switzerland for peace talks…

Why would anyone schedule serious talks with Demented Joe?
Sorry. I’m with Putin on this one. Heck, I’d take a cross check rather than speak to Biden.
I’d rather get a tooth pulled than meet with Joek.
Biden and his fellow idiots sealed the fate of the Ukrainians by not arming them at the first sign of Russia’s intention.
Biden then and now has no leverage over Putin.
Putin has ice hockey ahead of the excremental hockey and would rather watch real action than puppet inactions.
“Sorry. I’m with Putin on this one. Heck, I’d take a cross check rather than speak to Biden.”
Maybe a hip check, but I agree too. All Biden and everyone else in the West was willing to say to Putin was “Tough crap, Ukraine will join NATO and we don’t care what you think about it”.
Perhaps now that Europe is pretty much defenseless against conventional weapons (all having been destroyed or ‘transferred’ to Russia) and that Russian hypersonics cannot be defended against, the Neocons might be thinking that they stepped in it a bit.
Doesn’t he know Brandon can bea hockey puck?
Who is leading our supposed "democratic republic?"
Anybody know? It sure ain't Senile Joe, who gets led around like a dementia patient, and is handed cheat sheet cards in an attempt to get him to stay on message....a message written by we don't know who.
So obviously, a "leader to leader" phone call with Senile Joe is a joke --- and Putin isn't playing along, unlike our MSM stooges.
Exactly.
The Causes and Consequences of the Ukraine Crisis
The war in Ukraine is a multi-dimensional disaster, which is likely to get much worse in the foreseeable future.

[This speech was given at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence on Thursday, June 16.]
[This transcribed speech will be considered one of the most important treatises on the Russo-Ukraine war in coming years and decades. Every statement will be studied and debated. I urge folks on all sides to read it in its entirety. I’m only posting the concluding paragraphs here due to space and brevity considerations.]

Conclusion:
Simply put, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine is a colossal disaster, which as I noted at the start of my talk, will lead people all around the world to search for its causes. Those who believe in facts and logic will quickly discover that the United States and its allies are mainly responsible for this train wreck. The April 2008 decision to bring Ukraine and Georgia into NATO was destined to lead to conflict with Russia.
The Bush administration was the principal architect of that fateful choice, but the Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations have doubled down on that policy at every turn and America’s allies have dutifully followed Washington’s lead. Even though Russian leaders made it perfectly clear that bringing Ukraine into NATO would be crossing “the brightest of red lines,” the United States refused to accommodate Russia’s deepest security concerns and instead moved relentlessly to make Ukraine a Western bulwark on Russia’s border.
The tragic truth is that if the West had not pursued NATO expansion into Ukraine, it is unlikely there would be a war in Ukraine today and Crimea would still be part of Ukraine. In essence, Washington played the central role in leading Ukraine down the path to destruction. History will judge the United States and its allies harshly for their remarkably foolish policy on Ukraine. Thank you.

It is clear. Putin has a hate on for the Socialist Marxist regime now in control of Washington.
This could get interesting.

This is a rather important piece of news. The White House is blaming Putin’s invasion of Ukraine entirely for our inflation. It’s all Putin’s fault! Biden’s disastrous energy decisions had nothing to do with it.
That’s nonsense, of course. But for a moment let’s assume it’s true. Let’s assume that the invasion of Ukraine caused all our problems. Then Biden is still to blame. Putin saw Biden as a nothing, a joke. Biden’s weakness encouraged Putin to act.
My liberal friends might doubt this. I would then point out to them that Putin behaved himself when Trump was president.
Putin is making you double post. Ohhh!!, he’s so mean. He wouldn’t do that if Trump were in office.
Sorry, I have a mouse/scroll virus I am having difficulty with.
The wife keeps visiting European shopping sites.
Ha ha!
Weren’t peace talks supposed to be with Zelensky? Putin did say he would talk to Zelensky prior to the invasion.
That idiot Biden is just a sock puppet.
A leader can be feared, respected or ignored. Others decide in which category they are placed. Biden is neither feared or respected so it is safe to ignore him.
The blame for Biden is not the Democrats but the media. They choose sides and used the power of the megaphone to build him up while hiding his mental decline and corruption.
