President Trump Kills Roe v Wade

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:18 (King James Version)

Thank you, President Trump, for taking the curse of abortion off of this Great country and putting it on the ash heap of history where it belongs. No longer can the pro-abortionists claim it is settled law and now have to actually defend this barbaric act. State by state they have to convince the people it is more important to kill a living human than to have and raise that baby. The abortion industry is going to be completely exposed for the horrible curse it is on humanity and especially to blacks which have devastated their race through this plague.

This day would have never come if it was not for the dogged determination of President Trump. You can mock him, you can throw fake investigation after fake investigation at him and you can break every ethic and law in the books, but you cannot beat him. On all three Justices he nominated, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, no other President could have withstood the army which was formed against him from both sides of the aisle, yet he never backed down to get them nominated. Overnight he became the most consequential President in the last fifty years and perhaps longer.

For this massive victory alone, he deserves to be renominated as the Republican standard bearer for the Republican Party and most likely become re-re-re-nominated. Sure, he is not a Conservative purist and has a bit of the compassionate conservatism by passing massive deficit bills and not being a hawk on spending, but nobody can question his ability to get things done. Many would say he has promoted the conservative agenda beyond any of his predecessors including Reagan. This feather however puts him head and shoulders above any other Conservative.

Science says a human life begins at conception and it cannot even be argued. The moment it is conceived by God’s miraculous occurrence this human is a unique and separate human being from either the father or the mother, it is its own individual. Once this is established and is no longer being hidden behind words like fetus and embryo, the discussion becomes killing a human being and when. States like California, Oregon and New York can celebrate the taking of lives, but they are going to have to admit this is killing. The killing of a separate human being who is not a part of the mother. This means the mother is killing a separate human being who in America deserves all the Rights the Bill of Rights and Constitution affords it.

In addition, the Bible says in the Ten Commandments, Thou Shalt Not Kill, which this obviously is the killing of a human by another person for that person’s personal reasons without concern for the person she just killed. The Communists may not like it or agree with this explanation but they will never address it, rather they will use the old sexist charge or some other name calling, but they can no longer hide behind Roe v Wade.

This is the beauty of President Trump; he exposes the evil power for exactly who and what they are. He goes against the Goliaths of this world and cuts their heads off. He is extremely articulate under massive pressure and explains complex issues in a simple way the average person understands which drives those overeducated idjits insane. Once they reach that level of insanity they expose themselves to the world of exactly what and who they are just like Pelosi and China Mitch have shown.

Nobody ever thought the end of Roe would ever happen in America and in a normal world never would. In Trump’s world not only did he know it would happen, he single handedly made it come true. Thank You President Trump, you just killed the biggest creature in the swamp.

Praise God for the end of America's curse.

A better headline would be:

President Trump Aborts Roe vs. Wade

He doesn't need to do either.

He does.

Nothing it the Alito decision says abortion is strictly a state matter

It does. Read it.

and the Commerce Clause would give Congress the power to regulate abortion at the federal level.

Dream on!

It’s time to re-examine Swift vs. the United States.

China supports abortion in the US (and probably abortion by the state in China).

I have, and it doesn't. Justice Alito says the question of abortion is now a matter for the people and their elected representatives, and not specifically the states.

Watch them. People like McCarthy and Pence are already talking about legislation.

As Justice Thomas said in his concurrence it may be time to re-examine a number of cases. Why should Swift be left off the list?

"enough braying"

But justified and welcome. Abortion was supposed to be safe, rare, and legal. It evolved into buckets of baby parts, and chop shops where baby parts were packaged and shipped to researchers. Abomination is too tame a word for the practice, and the people who participated in it. Murder doesn't have a statute of limitations, and people need to be investigated and imprisoned for what they did.

Agreed. They may want to impose a single solution but I cannot imagine any possible compromise that would allow such a solution to pass. Democrats won't accept any restrictions on abortion. Republicans will try some solution that just bans it after 15 weeks or whatever, which will just anger a lot of their base. Neither party will have 60 votes in the Senate to end the filibuster regardless of who holds the House and Senate next year.

If either side could have amended the Constitution, they’ve had fifty years to do so, instead of praying for RBG to either live for ever or die before breakfast every morning. There is no consensus. There might have to be CW II.

"... he single handedly made it come true..."

Good Lord, let's be real here...

I love Trump's attitude and his tactics too, generally. It's a celebratory moment to be sure. And Trump deserves credit... for his smallish part. This victory was NOT a single handed affair. Not even close. To suggest such would be an abortion of pro-life history.

Where, for example, is the credit for the Bushes?

They produced the awesome author of the new opinion. And represent the most hard-fought, and historic appointment in Thomas. Time will tell, but I don't think anybody here viewed or views the 3 Trump picks as Alito / Thomas level picks. But Trump's trio, guided by Mitch, did fight a bit and did win their seats and voted the correct way this week. How could they not? Alito was so convincing that even Roberts had to agree.

The Left can mock "Uncle Thomas" all they want, he can take it. Trump and the Right should be carrying Uncle Sam on our shoulders today.

As well as thanking Ruth Buzzy Ginsburg for being a stubborn, arrogant, selfish feminist who gambled on Hillary and lost. SHE gave Trump the golden opportunity. He did his part and nominated a decent replacement, finally tipping the court.

And don't forget all the people actually involved on the streets, in the legal cases, state-level political/legal battles for 50 years. And beyond - my wise state of WI outlawed abortion before the Civil War.

Trump is great in many ways. He is bigger than life.

But he is NOT a single-handed force saving Life. That battle has been waged by millions and has cost some of those folks everything. That battle continues and grows in the sense that it is now truly a state-level political battle and not a 'settled' legal battle.

Trump can take a victory lap as the highly visible icon representing a large population of folks who made it happen. Just try to keep a respectable perspective.

I like Trump and will probably vote for him again. And I like your stuff, Bray, but this overly-simplified analysis and overly-focused credit on one man is not up to your standard.

Oh yes he does.

He specifically states it's for the states or they wouldn't have overturned Roe.

Watch them. People like McCarthy and Pence are already talking about legislation.

Where exactly is this “talk” at?
McCarty and Pence have no power to do anything.
How many Republican votes will McCarty get in an attempt to bring back Roe? Not to mention I am yet to hear McCarthy say he wants to bring back Roe. On the contrary, McCarthy has praised the SCOTUS decision. Stop making stuff up.

Democrats won't accept any restrictions on abortion.

Democrats in red states are forced to accept restrictions on abortion now. And there isn't much they can do about it.

Give Mitch his due.
My Oh my, you should hear the way that liberals talk about Mitch Mcconnell. They wish he would die for what he did with blocking Merrick Garland and then confirming Amy Coney Barrett.
I know many Conservative’s hate him too but honesty is important.

Oh yes he does.

Not so much, no.

He specifically states it's for the states or they wouldn't have overturned Roe.

He does detail how the battle against Roe was fought at the state level but nowhere in his decision does he say that the future solution for abortion lies solely with the states. He says it lies with the people's representatives, which could well be federal as well.

Where exactly is this “talk” at?

‘Our work is far from done': McCarthy suggests GOP will propose anti-abortion legislation if they retake House

Pence calls for national abortion ban as Trump, GOP celebrate end of Roe

McCarty and Pence have no power to do anything.

Obviously they disagree with you.

Stop making stuff up.

I might suggest you do the same.
