(CNN)The only abortion clinic in North Dakota is now preparing to move across state lines following the recent Supreme Court ruling on Roe v. Wade. Red River Women's Clinic, located in Fargo, has been the only provider in the state for 20 years. They now await closure, which will leave many women in the state without care.
Clinic Director Tammi Kromenaker told CNN Saturday they are still open, for now. "The plan is to provide service as long as we legally can," Kromenaker said.
North Dakota is one of many states that have trigger laws on the books aimed to ban abortion now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned. The law will go into effect 30 days after it is certified by the state's attorney general.
Attorney General Drew Wrigley's Office is still "evaluating the Dobbs opinion in every detail and will give careful consideration to its impact on North Dakota's abortion laws," according to a June 24 statement. Once this happens, the plan for the clinic is to move across state lines to Moorhead, Minnesota, according to Kromenaker. The space for the new clinic is located just across the Red River, about 15 minutes from its current location. Kromenaker said there is a lot of work that still needs to be done, but an ally started a GoFundMe to help the clinic collect funds for the new location.

If they are only moving 15 minutes from their current location, an extra 15 minutes sure doesn’t seem like its making it that much harder.
An extra 15 minutes to travel...
These women travel 15-20 minutes to get Starbucks. I don’t see any real hardship for them to murder their babies.
And yes, they know exactly what they are doing. They arent “duped by society”.
Still though, do you or have you noticed that a lot of states were down to just one abortion clinic? Never wondered why? Abortionists are hard to get. If Minnesota changed the law they could not go there then this clinic would be out of business for good or just move to a place like California.
A lot of states were already down to one or no abortion mills. In some places they were already getting women from other states.
I’m going for Zero in as many states as I can
Look at it this way, I know California and New York are lost causes but other states like Minnesota there is still a chance.
Hey I am all for that. On the same page.
“leave women without care”....Since when is killing a baby “care”
about 15 minutes from its current location
Wow...15 whole minutes..I don’t know if the wagon’s gonna make it, Maw...

Stories like this need to be widely repeated to drive home the point that the Supreme Court didn’t “outlaw abortion.” It has no such power! All the Justices did was let the several states decide whether abortion is legal in their respective jurisdictions, or not. States have long been free to affirm or deny medical practices, i.e. Louisiana requiring an eye exam before ordering prescription eyewear, whereas Texas allowing labs to “clone” a new pair of glasses off old prescription lenses.
If I lived next door to a baby killer, I’d be stoked that they were leaving.

spent getting pregnant may not have taken 15 minutes.

The west coast, the DC to Boston corridor, and Illinois look pretty hopeless to me.
Some other places will probably take a while to get even to 15 weeks and longer to 6—Colorado.
Not with the governor and state legislature in power now.
It s only a little further to go to get to Minnesota. And of course, there are no border guards asking for passports (yet).
I do not see the problem. If this is the worst example CNN can come up with, then everywhere else is a breeze.
There are even corporations that will pay the costs of transportation and housing, should it be necessary in many other venues.
“we suck out your baby’s brain in the most compassionate way possible”
What is there to “evaluate?”
This AG is waffling.
SIGN THE DAMN CERTIFICATION!!

Well… there is a joke in there.
