The Supreme Court decision on Thursday upholding American citizens’ right to concealed carry firearms outside of their homes has sent the left-wing media into a tizzy.

The angry torrent of rage spilled forth from blue check Twitter, where Auron MacIntyre did the yeoman’s job of compiling the worst “blue check meltdowns” in an epic thread. Read:

The Supreme Court decision bodes ill for the gun control package being rammed through Congress. There are passages in today’s decision that suggest the “red flag” laws that would deny Americans’ rights without due process would indeed be considered unconstitutional. A ‘dark day’ for the radical left, indeed.

May I suggest that all these anti-American, anti-freedom, pro-death, pro-crime imbeciles move to China.

One of the goofy lefties a Steve near the beginning says it will be interesting to see if the constitutional right to an abortion is overturned.

Where these dum-dums get the idea that is a constitutional right is so ignorant. Did he even graduate from high school?

“It’ll be fun to watch lefty heads explode when R v W is overturned.”

I, too, am really looking forward to that. Although I pray that the threats of violence are just that: Threats. There’s been too much violence.

I like Rubin's fantastical claim that the right to keep and bear arms protected the phrase "shall not be infringed" means there is no textual basis for the decision.

As for Hochul. I wouldn't mind seeing her face a firing squad armed only with muskets.

FINALLY !

The constitution DOES over-ride anything the states have to say.

Yes, too many dismiss the power of a musket, and especially the crowd that are anti 2d amendment that say "go back to using muskets".

The injuries and deaths from a musket are on an individual basis, far more gruesome than with most guns.

Imagine a perpetrator with their head literally blown up by a citizen using a musket instead of a gun.

So funny when Leftists start shrieking hysterically and frothing at the mouth. Their idiocy is made manifest.

You really need to read the highly suppressed 1982 Senate report on the 2nd Amendment. I have a paper copy.

https://guncite.com/journals/senrpt/senrpt.html

“The conclusion is thus inescapable that the history, concept, and wording of the second amendment to the Constitution of the United States, as well as its interpretation by every major commentator and court in the first half-century after its ratification, indicates that what is protected is an individual right of a private citizen to own and carry firearms in a peaceful manner.”

19th century cases
16. * Wilson v. State, 33 Ark. 557, at 560, 34 Am. Rep. 52, at 54 (1878).

“If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the (p.17)penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of constitutional privilege.”

17. * Jennings v. State, 5 Tex. Crim. App. 298, at 300-01 (1878).

“We believe that portion of the act which provides that, in case of conviction, the defendant shall forfeit to the county the weapon or weapons so found on or about his person is not within the scope of legislative authority. * * * One of his most sacred rights is that of having arms for his own defence and that of the State. This right is one of the surest safeguards of liberty and self-preservation.”

18. * Andrews v. State, 50 Tenn. 165, 8 Am. Rep. 8, at 17 (1871).

“The passage from Story (Joseph Story: Comments on the Constitution) shows clearly that this right was intended, as we have maintained in this opinion, and was guaranteed to and to be exercised and enjoyed by the citizen as such, and not by him as a soldier, or in defense solely of his political rights.”

19. * Nunn v. State, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846).

“’The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed.’ The right of the whole people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State.”

And the SCOTUS case that led to the Civil War..

Are Negros citizens...Dred Scott
“It would give to persons of the negro race, who are recognized as citizens in any one state of the Union, the right to enter every other state, whenever they pleased.... and it would give them full liberty of speech in public and in private upon all subjects upon which its own citizens might meet; to hold public meetings upon political affairs, and to KEEP AND CARRY ARMS wherever they went.”

So they’re winning when they win but also winning when they lose? Is that the gist of what you’re saying?

. And Preet Barerra, he’s supposed to be some smart law expert but he’s a partisan hack.

As a former Federal Prosecutor, Barerra is in that elite class of people that NYC will let carry a gun anywhere he wants to carry it.

People who know their right to carry will never be infringed are very often eager to infringe everybody else's right to carry. It increases the power of their privilege.

Funny how they state that SCOTUS ruling on abortion should go back to the states but then say the states don’t have a say in the 2nd. Duh because the Constitution is silent on abortion, therefore it is a matter for the states. However, the Constitution is specific on arms. Congress shall make no law. That means the states, too, under primacy.

I wanted to reply to your post because I fully agree.

What we’re doing is backing into a corner, and I fully believe that the left will be “forced to” ban Ammunition.

There are no specified rights about us having ammunition. They back us into a corner all the time and I think they recognize the value in it.

I’m still not happy. I’m a bit relieved though. I hope everyone takes an opportunity to exercise their rights and to stock up on Ammo. And I mean “hundreds of thousands of rounds” type of stock up.

That said, these examples of leftist melt-downs all show in plain terms how truly psychotic they are.

I see Hochul says she is ready to go back to muskets. She should inform her security detail of this immediately.

Nad horse-drawn carriage and the printing press. No free speech with technology newer than 1789.
