I needed to make an appointment for a vision exam to get some new glasses. My ophthalmologist now refuses to see me because I have refused to take the clot shot. Another one similarly would not see me for the same reason. I told both of them that I reject THEM for insisting on a procedure which has been shown to have terrible side effects and which does not keep you from catching COVID. Witness the many "break-through" cases in the news. Finally found another one who will see me. Have any fellow FReepers experienced similar exclusions from doctors?
Find one who is not a Quack.

My mom is vaxxed, but I have to go in with her to help her understand what the doc is saying.
I get to go in by showing my Power Of Attorney.
If you are a couple or in a parent/child relationship then I would recommend a POA even if both parties are fully capable of handling their own medical issues.
This will allow you to go in even if the doctor or hospital only allows patients and no "visitors".
I have never told my mom's GP what my vax status is, and he has never asked. I would like to have him as my GP, but I don't dare ask him for fear he will ask about my vax status, and if he finds out he might lecture me about me being a danger to my mom.
I feel like I'm being put in a rather precarious condition.
My dentist never asked if I got the shot. I don't even need to wear a mask when I enter his office. His staff don't wear masks. Some patients in the waiting room still do (as of a few weeks ago). But masks and vaccine are optional in his office.
Clerks at my supermarket wear masks. All of them. So too the barristas at the coffee house. But most (not all) patrons don't.
Report them to the state medical board.
You need to find a different one. This one will likely get covid AGAIN.

Do you need an ophthalmologist? An optician can prescribe, I think. Costco has on site eye exams.

You did the right thing. So far I have not experienced this. If it does happen to me I will drop him like a hot potato.

Well you could shop around to find a physician who will see you.
