Gas prices on Tuesday hit another record under Joe Biden.
Inflation rates are outpacing wages and gas prices are through the roof.
Out-of-touch Democrat Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow bragged that she passed “every single gas station” in her brand new electric vehicle and it didn’t matter “how high gas was.”

if you listen to them, they will tell you who they are...
Most of the charging stations have diesel generators
Ok Deb whatever you say, she does not drive any place Flys from MI to DC
“Do you know how many people live in apts./condos and can’t do that?”
Why not? Lots of apartment complexes have EV charging stations.
Wait till she encounters a Michigan Winter and her battery begins operating at 55%.
“Which means you are limited to a circle half the range of the vehicle from your home.”
Nope. Don’t be so biased that it warps your logic. It means most driving even for gas cars is just a few miles each day.
“She stated that it was a test.”
Why did you say it was a ruined vacation?
“Let them eat cake then!”
So the Greeter at Walmart driving a $500 Grand Am is supposed to run out after work and plop her $40,000 down on a new Tesla, right Senator?
Something else I never see from those who promote EVgasms at every opportunity confront. What happens when the demand for rare earth metals increases 100+ times more it is now? These metals are important to EV batteries and aren’t limited to just lithium. And we depend on foreign countries for most of them. Every battery cost future calculation I see is based on current costs. What about battery replacement costs 8+ years from now when replacement costs could be 10 times what they are now?
Now, where was the EV produced, senator? Do you have a Ford Mach E? Or a Chinese junkmobile?
I would consider any road-trip to be sort of a ‘vacation’. And she started the report saying that she thought it would be ‘fun’.
And it WOULD have been a lot more fun in a traditional gas vehicle.
I’ve never seen one in my area. We have to drive miles to get to the closest one - and I live in a suburb of a big metro area. The closest one isn’t even near a real supermarket, where I could at least make good use of the waiting time.
She’ll have fun charging it in blackouts.
LET THEM EAT CAKE.........
Stop digging ...
You can’t have it both ways: claim the full range and say everyone will be charging at home.
Certainly, they can be useful for the daily commute which makes them a special use vehicle. Nothing wrong with that, except the folks wanting 100% conversion in five or ten years refuse to admit it.
