Gas prices on Tuesday hit another record under Joe Biden.

Inflation rates are outpacing wages and gas prices are through the roof.

Out-of-touch Democrat Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow bragged that she passed “every single gas station” in her brand new electric vehicle and it didn’t matter “how high gas was.”

And how long does it take to charge the car at a charging station and you waiting in line to charge your car? These people think that they can just drive up to a charging station and it’d be open, not have to wait in line then take twenty or thirty minutes to charge up to make to the next charge station?

Let’s circle back to Deb during the next black out, and her EV is stranded in her driveway, or on a highway.

Which means you are limited to a circle half the range of the vehicle from your home.

She stated that it was a test. But I guarantee that filling the tank of my Honda for a 2000 mile trip would take far less time than her 14 charges.

It’s also 9 years old and one has had one battery replacement - not needed, but to be careful - which cost less than $100.

This is a boondoggle for most people. I don’t make what AOC and other elites make.

I wish I could make $174,000 a year.

Along with generous perks both above board and hidden from view, I wouldn't be worrying about the price of gasoline, either. The snobbish elites need to review history of say France, Russia, Romania when the military decides that it has enough of the elites too, and stand aside when the peasants get uppity.

Better questions are: how much did it cost to get that home charging station installed in her garage? How much did it cost to run the high voltage lines to her property?

Why not? I live in a small apartment complex. One of our neighbors parked his outside for years, and another parked in the garage.

My sister and her husband are driving from WA to the East coast. They have passed 2 large oil refineries and one small and the only cars anywhere near them are security cars - the refineries are shut down.

WHY???!!!

Because electricity is made from unicorn farts and when the battery is sent over the rainbow it transforms into millions of sparkling stars.

The Amish pass every single gas station in their old horse drawn wagons and it doesn’t matter to them how high gas is either. So what is she trying to prove? When she is stuck in traffic on a cold winter day and her battery dies, she’s not getting in my warm car.

I wouldn't put much stock in your sister's opinion about
whether something is shut down or not. She might have eaten
a peanut and is having halucinations.

I wish I could make $174,000 a year.

Even if I did, the last thing on my buy list is an electric car.

Around where I live some have taken up driving around in golf carts. I cannot wait till golf cart meets GMC bumper.

My wife asked what do you plan to do if the power goes out due to over loads. I said no problem, just hop in my 300HP coupe and drive about. She said, well, that works till you run out of gas. I responded, state law here: pumps must have generator back up!

We will see how much she brags later this summer when there is no electric for her wokemobile. Michigan is one of the states with the most probable to suffer from grid failure this summer because of bureaucratic stupidity.
