Excuse me. I was making a point that obviously went over your head. Others understood exactly my point. I guess you didn’t.

The headline doesn’t mention a mask. And why would it?
I guess I’ll spell it out for you. A woman wears a mask as a protective device to keep from harm. But no one can be protected from all harm. You can’t protect yourself from idiots who want to shoot off guns in a crowded parking lot. Smart ass.
No. You did misinterpret. I wasn’t poking fun. You don’t know me well enough to make that assumption. I was pointing out the irony of a situation. I don’t poke fun of anyone, especially a gunshot victim. Stop reading between the lines and reading more into it than what it was.

Whether she was or was not wearing a mask had nothing to do with the shooting. How sad for you that you think this is ironic.
Um. No I won’t. And the only one behind is you who goes around calling people names because they can’t understand what that person is saying. It’s easy to call people names when you can hide behind an anonymous venue. Oh, I know. You say you would do it even if we were face to face, No you wouldn’t. I know better.

You did none of that. But oh you are so ironic! The irony is just dripping from this thread.
I have been posting since 1998. I know the rules. I wasn’t commenting on the article itself. Only on the situation. It was what Freerepublic calls a vanity piece. I’ve posted on here hundreds of times. When I refer to a news article I post the link to that article. I have tried in the past to post photos only, but had no success. And NOLA.com has strict copyright rules.
Oh, and if you don’t know the meaning of ironic, look it up.

Your ‘point’ was beneath everyone’s head.
The woman wore a mask because she believed it helped protect her from Covid - not because she thought it would protect her from ‘all harm’.
You know nothing about this woman, her state of health, personal concerns, etc. You just used her to make a point completely unrelated to her story.
