A grandmother who was attending her youngest grandson’s high school graduation was killed by a stray bullet fired by one of two women in the parking lot after the ceremony. A picture was posted showing her posing with her grandson before the shooting while she was wearing a Covid mask. Sadly the Covid mask did not prevent her from dying from a stray bullet.

I don’t see “irony” in this example.

Tragedy is entertainment for certain types on FR.

Agreed. Makes one cringe. No empathy I guess.

I don’t either. One may as well say that wearing a seat belt when you’re shot in your car in a drive-by is somehow ‘ironic’.
Poster must have ‘covid restriction resentment’ on the brain. Sometimes it’s just out of place.

No. Seatbelts do save lives. There’s no proof that Covid masks stop anything.

And no ‘irony’ in your previous post.
What in the world does an elderly woman wearing a mask have to do with her being shot and killed?
You’re just being a smartass.

I get your point. You were attempting to make fun of someone dying simply because they were wearing a Covid mask which had nothing to do with this tragedy. I also get that you could not adequately link to an article.
