Rolling blackouts are just part of the plan.
I keep hearing about possible blackouts in the Midwest coming this summer. Even Texas is expecting rolling blackouts. This is an energy state with abundant natural gas. I have seen blackouts due to storms and other issues but never a prediction of blackouts just because it is summer and hot. While I am aware there has been an effort to “go green” by implementing solar and wind generation, together they account for around 4% of generation That’s hardly a blip in the greater scheme of things. Coal has historically been the baseload power generator. It has been systematically dismantled over the past decade and this has resulted in a net decrease in total available power in many areas.
While natural gas has risen to supplant coal as the United State’s largest energy source for electricity, total energy has not increased in 10 years. Due to economic conditions and government regulations, coal plants have been shuttered at a rapid rate since 2010. In the period 1993 to 2009, retirements averaged .36 GW per year and totaled 6.2 GW. In 2020 and 2021 retirements averaged 7.9 GW per year and 95.2 GW in total. Over the next five years, planned retirements will total over 24 GW. All this has been supplanted in part by natural gas. We have an increasing population. The southern part of the USA will require additional electricity for air conditioning every year. We have a push for electric vehicles that will require more electricity. At the same time, attacks on natural gas follow as coal becomes less of a target. The Left is executing their long-held agenda to put us back in the dark ages, and they may succeed this time.

I agree and see it happening as well. However, in the US, the left is going to lose the midterms (especially if we have rolling blackouts this summer) and they risk losing 2024 without a significant event.
I wonder what event they have planned?

Imagine one of your kids freezing to death in your home. Eleven-year-old Cristian Pineda’s mother found her son dead during the Texas blackout in February 2021.
Or you have a power outage for three days, losing a couple of hundred dollars worth of food because your refrigerator didn’t work, as Michelle Jones did last summer. The food she had just bought to feed herself, her daughter, and her granddaughter spoiled without electricity.
Is this what they want? More than likely. What about them. How will those that are pushing this survive? Do they have some secret stash? Do they have access to power that the rest of serfs do not? Oh wait, they have solar panels and wind turbines...for now.
And sadly, all across this country, foolish-greedy-inept-corrupt politicians are eager to jump on the green bandwagon. Just imagine what this country could be like if the RED STATES united and told CornPop and his crew to, ESAD. Of course, that would lead to more of a mass migration of hypocritical liberals to those states but they could be stopped at the border or denied any and all voting rights for 40 years and be forced to pay all the increases in property taxes that would be coming with them, while the locals get their taxes lowered...you wanna dance, you gotta pay the band.

They all just smile when they stab us in the back.
