We can split hairs about Democracy and Republic. And that is a good debate. But what American president says "Democracy has never been good", except a complete moron.

Sounds like Joey ‘Jolsen’ Biden has been working on his 50-state rendition of a Stacey Abrams imitation.
I missed it, but what REALLY chaps me, is, here he is paying homage to, and laying a wreath for soldiers who died so we could live the livelihood he is deliberately trying to destroy.
I always miss any speech that he gives. He’s insufferable.
This was not the day or event for Biden to equivocate on American ideals and suggest our troops died in wars for an imperfect cause.
Just could he not STFU about apologizing for America for ONE DAM DAY.

Well, he is actually right. True Democracy is 3 foxes and a hen deciding what’s for dinner. That’s why our founding fathers decided upon a representative republic as the model to follow.
Not all of them are sheep yet. Those that are not had better start planning and preparing, preferably within the system.
I try to watch them all so I don’t miss any gaffes, but I was busy on a project.

Oddly on this Biden is correct. A pure democracy is not good as it has the seeds of destruction built into the political structure of “MOB RULE” by the majority at the expense of the minority. Pure democracy always fails.
That is why we are a democratic republic of individual states. It should be noted that the increasing power of the Federal Government over individual states leads us to a pure democracy which always fails.

The ancient Athenians couldn’t even manage pure democracy in a city state where everyone knew each other. It degenerated into demagoguery and civil war with Sparta, followed by invasion and destruction at the hands of the erstwhile-vanquished Persians.
