Why Team Biden might be purposefully grinding down the middle class

Vladimir Lenin supposedly once said, “The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.”

There’s some doubt as to whether this line is genuine; regardless, it seems like a pretty good description of what the Biden administration is doing to America’s middle class.

Inflation is running rampant. The Producer Price Index, the most useful measure of general inflation, is up a whopping 16.3% from April 2021, per the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

That means that roughly $1 out of every $6 that people earn has been lost to inflation in a single year. Or to put it another way, 80 minutes’ earnings out of every eight-hour day have been eaten up.

This is predictable, of course. Team Biden took an already-bloated federal budget and supersized it with spending last year, printing money hand-over-fist to fund a massive array of pork-filled programs, many if not most of which guided billions of dollars into the pockets of Democratic Party supporters.

President Joe Biden dismissed inflation worries at the time, saying that Milton Friedman — the famed inflation-fighting economist — no longer runs the show. Well, the late economist certainly didn’t run Biden’s show, but his observation that inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon was borne out in spades as prices took off.

And it was a double whammy. Inflation comes when you have too much money chasing too few goods. The spending part provided the excess money, but the Biden team was right there helping to ensure fewer goods, too.

Gas prices going up? Not only was Biden’s spending program stimulating inflation, but at the same time Biden policies were reducing the amount of gasoline, diesel and heating oil those dollars could buy. Biden went wild canceling pipelines, ending gas and oil

The left hates the middle class because they are not dependent on government. The left does not like self-sufficiency.

Short essay by the great Daniel Greenfield explains what is going on in a nutshell. It’s a plan, not an accident.

Yes, it will be easy to get the masses demanding a “reset” and the elimination of capitalism and the constitution so they can enjoy relief and return to their happy lives.....which will never happen.

All I know is that if a Republican manages to get into the White House and reverse all these terrible trends, fill the supermarket shelves with goods (including baby formula), and get gas down to $2 a gallon, the NYT will declare it to be the “worst economy in 50 years”.

I saw a YouTube video on how most people vastly underestimate the amount of stupid people around us. Stup people inadvertently harm themselves and society.

That’s when they trot out their sob stories about people having two jobs to make ends meet as the cause of what is really a bad economy, according to them.

It’s actually the opposite. Since the abolition of slavery, the American middle class has been the beneficiary of some of the biggest government programs in the history of the human race. These would include Social Security, Medicare, the G.I. Bill, the Interstate Highway Act of 1956, and the Homestead Act of the 19th century — just to name a few.

The middle class weren’t the only beneficiaries of those poisoned programs, all Americans were/are. Most, if not all, were created as escrow accounts for politicians under the guise of benefiting the citizens. That’s why most of these defunct programs are going or are already bankrupt.

“..The left does not like self-sufficiency.”

Agree, but it is more than even that. The left hates people who just want to be left alone. The left hates freedom, unless it is the freedoms they advocate.
And to do this they have to distort and lie and appeal to emotional arguments that have no association with reality.

For any conservative running against an Assistant Democrat or a Communist:

““My opponent knows that way to crush you is to grind you between the millstones of taxation and inflation. He could stop it if he/she wanted to. Trump did, like him or not, he did.”

“I saw a YouTube video on how most people vastly underestimate the amount of stupid people around us.“

Not just the sheer number of stupid people, but also HOW stupid they are. “COVID” has revealed astonishing numbers of stupid people, and levels of stupidity. For example, sheets of plexiglas hanging in front of checkout counters... Monumentally, mind-numbingly stupid.

Until the Left finally gets what it wants. And then the rest of us won’t have anything left.

And that’s when things will get very, very ugly.

When people have nothing to lose, they lose it. When the people have 330 million guns, they’re going to go through the government like shit through goose.
