Rittenhouse Coffee has a ring to it...
But if a company does take a political stand, they damn well should be consistent, otherwise they are too stupid to survive.

Exactly!
You first drive out half of your potential customers. They will rarely come back, even if you apologize and repent.
But, if you turn around, you just upset the other half of the population. You are left with NOTHING.
Nice
Yup, and that was before Kyle Rittenhouse.

I've never seen Laotian coffee on the market. I thought Laotians were tea drinkers. But I'm always on the prowl for good coffee, so I'll have to find out where I can get some.

I didn’t know they had gone woke.
I’ve never bought their coffee. My BIL brewed some for us. I wasn’t impressed. As I said elsewhere, I favor Peet’s.
This may be all the excuse I’d need for a trip to Laos.
Thanks!
My understanding is that they roast coffee by firing out of a blunderbuss.
So long as the Laotian beans are predigested and defecated by Laotian monkeys then they are definitely worth considering!
Grifters gonna need a new grift.
and that’s the truth...
SE Asia are big time coffee drinkers. Maybe the influence of French colonial rule.
If you go, make sure to see the 4000 Islands area on the Mekong River while you still can. Not sure what will happen once all the Chinese damming projects are finished in a few years.

Just in case no one noticed the entire Stock Market has cratered so a stock nose diving is a non-story plus they sell a premium product in an inflationary market which makes it doubly difficult
The price of coffee at the commodity level has skyrocketed meaning all coffee companies are going to struggle especially the premium price ones, Starbucks is going struggle because they are fighting a number of their stores unionizing
Whatever problems BRCC has, their problems stem more from overall terrible market conditions versus any PR or CB political decisions they’ve made
A typical meal in NE Thailand or Laos. Lunch today for my wife and I.
Chicken, spicy pork salad, soup, sticky rice, and fresh herbs.
Total cost is around $6 US (for 2 people)
They haven’t gone public yet
I stand corrected
BRC finished the SPAC Two weeks ago and is now publicly traded
The 90 day minimum on SPACs
I was unaware and I know someone close to me with options
