Pfizer 3-dose COVID vaccine 80% effective against symptomatic omicron infection for youngest children

In long-awaited data, Pfizer said its 3-dose vaccine was 80% effective against symptomatic omicron COVID-19 infection among children 6 months to under 5 years old.

The company cautioned that estimate was preliminary and could be adjusted as more data is collected. The trial wasn't big enough to estimate protection against severe disease, which experts expect to be higher.

The news doesn’t change the overall timeline for when vaccines for this age group could be available. For the youngest Americans, vaccines from both Pfizer and Moderna are expected to be authorized in June or July, likely as a three-dose vaccine for Pfizer and a two-dose vaccine for Moderna, though Moderna is also studying a third dose.

Didn’t Pfizer basically make sure their methodology would show a high rate of effectiveness in previous COVID trials? What would be different with these results?

So...only 80% effective for a low-dose infection that doesn't present any symptoms and they caution they don't have enough data in their trial sizes for severe infections of OhmyGodiChron? Is that it? That's what they're telling us? And, do they really expect a parent to assimilate that and say to themselves, "Hey, it's okay to jab the light of my life, the love of the world CHILD with this....." Who in their right mind thinks this is good news?

Doing nothing is 80% effective in children to make any omicron infection basically asymptotic.

Doing nothing also let’s them develop a much broader immune response for later, potentially nastier, variants.

“children 6 months to under 5 years old.”

How many of this cohort were getting severe illness from covid anyway? For crying out loud, it’s a freakin’ cold at this point. Yes, a cold can kill you if you’re an 85-year-old cancer patient with diabetes and COPD. But not if you’re healthy toddler.

From the article: "Pfizer said..."

Stopped right there. Pfizer has no credibility at all.

“Pfizer said”

Given their track record and well documented poor relationship with the truth, I have a wee bit of difficulty believing anything “Pfizer said”.

What a load of nonsense. Pfizer covid “vaccines” have never been effective against anything.
But they keep coming up with even more ridiculous, outrageous claims.

3 months from now: Oops, it turns out that it is actually 0% effecitve, and may destroy your child's immune system and/or render them infertile.

Safe and effective!

100% lies. Even if Pfizer spoke the truth, I would NOT believe them— they have told so many lies, their reputation is forever SHOT (pun intended) with MILLIONS of us.

Their policy on honesty with the public with respect to their mRNA gene therapy product, for which they have been shielded from all liability for illness, injury and death, is:

Honesty had nothing to do with this product.

Manufacture, distribute, sell, fill up the corporate coffers with $$$$$$$.

Rinse and repeat, ad infinitum, for as ling as the public remains hoodwinked.
