@RepThomasMassie
The @US_FDA has had the same impact on baby formula manufacturing as the @USDA has had on meat processing in the United States.
The US-duh and the F-duh are working every day to keep prices high and supply low, while making sure no new businesses can enter the market.

Well duh.
Didn’t the same baby formula shortage happen in the early 1970s ?
Baby formula has just been revealed as yet another failed market, made fragile and expensive by DC central-planning, and over-regulation, that favors corporate cronies who can deal with government BS.
Maybe the early 1970s were the dry run for today ?
Sooner or later, Atlas shrugs . . .
I sort of think that the 70s were intended to be a decade of decline for us. The Soviet Union was thought by many to be in ascendance. We had Jimmy Carter, and we just needed to follow him with Mondale and our fate would be sealed. But we got Reagan.
They tried again after 9/11. Bush was in place, being a fool. He was followed by 2 terms of Obama which did great damage. They just needed to follow up with Hillary, and our fate would be sealed. But we got Trump.
Two terms of Trump would have given us too much recovery. So they forced Biden into office with massive cheating, and now they are wasting no time at all finishing the task they started about 50 years ago.
I don’t remember a shortage in the 70s, and my kids back then would have needed it. I could be wrong. I do remember a beef shortage, gas shortage and pampers?
Well, they said there were shortages. But in actuality it was companies working in trust to keep prices high. During the “oil shortage” we could see the tankers in the ocean outside of San Pedro harbor. They had to move the ships further out so they were below the horizon. Same same “meat shortage”. There was no shortage. It was just companies working in collusion.
the new press secretary just twisted the NY state shooting incident.... by downplaying the mental illness problem and talking mostly instead about the “need to do something about gun violence” (sic)
we are “in for” more and more of these deceptions, lies, distortions ... just like Jos. Goebbels all over again
and yes, it worked when Goebbels did it... so far, I think it will/is working here, too?
repeat lies often enough and the masses, anyway, will accept and even start agreeing with them (if only because that’s just about ALL they hear... the commie/Nazi hold on the mass media is pretty darned comprehensive)
When you talk about corporate collusion you sound like a communist.
Bttt.
5.56mm
You are saying that companies don’t sometimes work together to fix prices?
Massie continues to lead.
With all due respect to Rep. Thomas Massie, please consider the following.
Although Congress has the constitutional authority to close down USDA and FDA, it can be argued that the alleged election stealing, desperate Democratic and RINO-controlled Congress is once again hiding behind non-elected bureaucrats, letting these bureaucrats do Congress’s dirty work for it in an election year.
More specifically, corrupt Congress may let the economy return to normal a month before Election Day, claiming failed Democratic policies have been successful to try to win on election day.
And speaking of Election Day...
Patriots are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed candidates.
Insights welcome.
Reminds me of what my kin said about the 1930s when meat was so cheap, yet many could not afford it as there were no jobs.
So the Dems and FDR ordered hundreds of thousands of cattle and hogs bought, killed and buried to create a shortage and get the price UP!
And they refused to give any of the meat to the poor.

Ten years later, that same government agent was begging the same ranchers and farmers to increase meat production for the War effort.
