Jill Biden is not an inherently interesting person. She’s been a teacher for some decades now, wrote an undistinguished thesis to get a meaningless Ed.D., and now functions as her husband’s nursemaid. She also lacks charm. And, of course, she’s White. Why someone thought a biography of her would be interesting is impossible to understand although a biography that took two people to write hit the market this past week—and completely bombed.
Here is Jill’s bio in a nutshell:
She dropped out of junior college, got married, and went to the University of Delaware to be an English major. She and her husband separated and she began dating Biden, then a Senator and widower with two children. Her divorce came through, she graduated with an English degree, and started working as a teacher. She and Joe married but she never adopted his boys. She got a Master of Education. And then she got another Master of Education. She taught English classes. She got her Ed.D., based on a badly written thesis (almost as bad as Michelle Obama’s Bachelor’s thesis), which is bizarre considering her English language background. She wants people to call her “Dr.,” which is the height of narcissism.
And that’s it, except for the fact that she’s clearly Joe’s minder now, telling him when to speak and when to stay silent, and when to walk and where. That’s just in front of the cameras. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors?

She taught at my high school while I was there.
I lived in Wilmington DE.
Actually sitting in Wilmington this moment…
So this things was written by a couple of sycophant Reporters (AP I believe) was it in cooperation with the First Diaper Changer?

LOL
Oh...thank you
The book may be a flop, but just wait until the Pulitzer committee looks at authors.
The dissertation is comparable to my 12th grade English paper that I wrote in two days…
“Banging the Babysitter”… a Biden memoir.
She should stick to what she knows: care for the mentally non-functional.
Any degree in “education” is a joke. It’s a mindless discipline that any fool can complete. Remember that idiot Dr. Ruth? Yeah, that’s her doctorate. Education.
Dr. Ruth was highly entertaining and had good subject matter, at least.
I’m sure some liberal publishing company is willing to give her a huge “advance” (wink-wink) for her book, no matter how uninteresting it is.
Fact #17,244 that the Brandon Media has absolutely no interest in...
Delaware is a very socially insular state.
Some say it has to be that way else Philly would overrun it. But in DE, one is either a DE blue blood, or a transplant with a lot of money / power / influence, or a nobody. Even legendary Jack Nicklaus was a nobody when he visited DE a number of years ago. (He was not allowed to play weekend golf as a member’s guest at the Wilmington CC b/c non-members were not allowed on the course on weekends.)
Xiden from Scranton then transplanted in Claymont is in group 2. Not a blue blood. He moved up from a nobody when enough heathens voted or selected him to office.
I worked at Wilmington CC and went to public school, so you know where I belong.
I think New Castle County has the most private schools per population of any county.
Part of that Fifth Avenue treatment makeover, wardrobe, book...
It means nothing, it never did, although some first ladies thought they were in a co-presidential position... which is plain ‘ol road-apples.
Jilly just juggles Joey’s bedpans
In a couple of weeks it’ll be on sale for .99c at Sam’s.
“South of the canal” is quite a different world than stuffy New Castle County - a lot more Trump voters. Drove up to SNJ the past few years from the Carolinas via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Southern Jersey is generally like south DE - quite rural, many hard working, conservative people. Big money has been buying up the real estate in Delaware coastal towns. Getting to where middle class DE people can barely afford to visit their own beaches, let alone own a modest place.
Everyone I know goes to the Jersey Shore in the Summer.
Rehoboth is for fruitcakes.
