Are you thinking that the disease of mental illness that killed her was due to a stroke? Maybe OD. But some reports are saying suicide.

If 100,000 experienced adverse effects, it is still only 0.0392%. Hardly enough to call it anything but a nothing burger for adverse effects.
I had my 1st jab 15 months ago, and 4th jab 2 months ago. Not even a sneeze from the experimental vaccine yet. And I have already burned 82 candles.
We all have defective genes from our ancestors. Some of those defects may include mental illness.
However, although under the law of the old Testament, the Bible talks about the father eating sour grapes and children’s teeth being set on edge, at the cross, Jesus redeemed us from generational curses when the last thing he did on the cross was receive the vinegar (sour grapes) to his mouth afterwards crying out, “It is finished!”
So as Galatians 3:13 says, by grace Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Many of us do not realize this and live in fear of some generational curse and that fear can stop Jesus from keeping us healthy.
You may be right about the mental illness gene.

“poor” people spend their life trying to survive—they dont have the “luxury” or time for depression and mental illness—and if they are truly mentally ill, they generally wont survive in the herd for too long.
“rich” people spend their life trying to justify their existence leaving a lot more room for “thoughts” to get into their heads, spiraling into full blown mental illness.
I’ll sum it all up with a rough quote from William Holden’s last movie (i think), The Earthling:
“If you ain’t surviving, then you’re dying.”

She has had serious health issues for a long time, I am actually surprised she made it to 76

How else do you die from depression. It’s a mental disease, not a physical one, so she had to have ended her own life somehow. My guess is an overdose of pills. Most painless way to do it. Just go to sleep and don’t wake up.
There’s gotta be some promotor out there who’s contemplating suicide after all the money he’s losing out from a cancelled tour!
It is different in living in depressing conditions with not enough to eat, and mentally depressed when having too much wealth surround you.
I read the quote in the original post, it stated “tragedy” as any death would be. Gave no cause. A heart attack would be sudden.
Science doesn’t really understand what turns on the defective addiction or mental illness genes.

One of the only nations in Europe that never had an Empire - folks wonder why, but I don’t.
I have observed mental depression is more prevalent in entertainment stars. May be it is because they are showered with wealth and feel guilty about so much with so little effort, and do not understand why they are not more happy.
some of the studies have theorized due to the famine but I think it probably is further back than that.
