USAA is no better than the other insurers such as AAA, Allstate and State Farm that are scammers in their homeowners and auto insurance rates. The fact that they target veterans and their families is just an advertisement ploy.
A year ago when my insurance rates almost doubled, I got quotes from all three and their 6 month insurance quote was equal at the time to what I was paying for a year.
When my rates thru the then insurer skyrocketed, I found another insurance that not only was less than my new rates would have been but less than what I was paying at the time.......

I’ve been a member for over 30 years. In the last 10 years or so their service has plummeted. Every once in a while I see a post on a social media group of ex-navy officers about USAA. 60% are disgruntled and/or have left. I have a felling some of the woke DOD people have moved into leadership positions over there. It used to be a pretty good company - liberals ruin everything,.
This is not a concern for any one using USAA.
It is simply around a penalty for not having a “proper” method to review transactions or entities who are on an official list of “suspicious persons.”
The Biden Administration may have been mad that it did business with either drug dealers (no, they like all such persons), or a MAGA supporter (much more likely).

I’m to the point of just finding some recommended independent local agent and going with them.
My last few dealings with USAA have soured my opinion of them beyond repair. They have millions of dollars to fund the woketards but can’t break loose a few dollars for a system that can take a 2 minute dashcam video?? I guess it’s a lot easier to call me a liar and listen to the real liars than to bother to share that their worthless system can’t accept a large file so they didn’t bother to look at it for 3 MONTHS!

I'm not disparaging enlisted men, it just a natural consequence of the decision to include a group who by and large are both younger and less educated than their established client base.
Not to mention vastly more numerous. And without soliciting the opinions of their existing clients.
Why do you care? Is it taking money out of your savings account? It gets tiresome seeing FR’s unofficial curmudgeon™️ whinging about stuff most people don’t spend 5 seconds worrying about. If it bugs you that much, approach Jim Robinson about being a moderator.
