Ilhan Omar's husband's firm quietly raking in payments again from committee linked to 'Squad' member
Fox News ^ | 4/14/22 | Joe Schoffstall

A consulting firm co-owned by Rep. Ilhan Omar's husband, Tim Mynett, appears to be back in business after ostensibly halting its political operations at the federal level following controversy stemming from Omar's campaign shelling out millions to the company.

The Minnesota progressive's campaign dished out nearly $3 million to Mynett's firm, E Street Group, before criticism had forced her to terminate the contract in November 2020. Mynett and his business partner then appeared to veer away from their political operation to consult wine and beverage companies.

Mynett's firm, however, appears to have reopened the doors to its political business after recently taking in cash from an Omar-linked committee.

The E Street Group received a $15,000 research consulting payment from the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party's federal committee on Feb. 25, records show.

Mynett's firm hauled in the money just two days after Omar's campaign transferred $15,000 into the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party's coffers. Omar's campaign sent $22,000 to the committee this cycle before the payment.

**SNIP**

Mynett's previous run at the federal level netted the firm millions of dollars, primarily from Omar's campaign. The campaign doled out nearly $3 million to the E Street Group to cover advertisements, consulting, travel expenses and production costs.

After insisting that she would not cut off the agreement between her campaign and her husband's firm, Omar emailed supporters in November 2020 to announce she was terminating the contract.

**SNIP**

Mynett and Hailer, meanwhile, pivoted their efforts toward the wine and beverage industry after Omar had nixed the contract. The duo offered companies advertising, public relations and web services.

According to the D.C. business records, the trade name for that company, eStreet.co, was canceled in October 2021. The similarly named California limited liability company remains in good standing.

E Street's beverage consulting website now displays a blank slate, while its political consulting website is active.

She's the one who married her brother.

Yep, why bother to hide the corruption when there are no real consequences?

Certain people are immune to scrutiny and accountability.

The GOP taking back congress won’t change this privilege one bit.

I don’t get how she and a handful of others engage in this stuff right in everyone’s faces. People DO take note of it and complain about it, but nothing is ever done. What am I missing? Isn’t there even one congress critter willing to call her out and start the indictment process? It’s not like these activities are being carried out in secret.

Yes, I realize that a lot of our “federal protectors” are permanently out to lunch.

But all it takes is one conscientious prosecutor and a couple of dedicated law men. There has to be at least a couple of authorized people out there who would step up.

House of Representatives Votes Omars bill....to Eradicate Blasphemy Against Islam
Amounts to Congress making a law respecting the establishment of religion....Islam
Reduces the US government to being a tool of the world’s ayatollahs.
American Thinker ^ | 28 Dec, 2021 | Arvind Kumar
Posted on 12/28/2021, 6:46:09 AM by MtnClimber

The House of Representatives has passed a bill which seeks to eradicate blasphemy against Islam. The bill, H.R. 5665, is truly remarkable as it amounts to Congress making a law respecting the establishment of Islam and reducing the United States government into a tool of the world’s ayatollahs.

The actual text of the bill not only seeks to eradicate blasphemy against Islam around the world – and solely against Islam at that – but even requires the federal government to reorganize some portions of the State Department along the lines of an Islamic religious institution which will be responsible for interpreting the Quran. For example, the text of the bill mandates that “[t]he Secretary of State shall establish within the Department of State an Office” and the “purpose” of the office is described as “[m]onitoring and combating acts of Islamophobia and Islamophobic incitement that occur in foreign countries.” That is, the State Department is required to create an office which is a cross between George Orwell’s Big Brother and the Taliban.

The word ‘combat’ in the text of the law is problematic but fits in perfectly with the concept of waging violent jihad against the countries deemed to have committed blasphemy against Islam. Almost every dictionary defines the word primarily as an action pertaining to war. While the internet firm Google’s dictionary defines ‘combat’ as “fighting between armed forces,” Cambridge Dictionary defines the word as “a fight, especially during a war.” According to Collins Dictionary, “combat is fighting that takes place in a war.” This is no hyperbole as the State Department has a long history of supporting Islamic terrorists such as Osama bin Laden, the Taliban, Al Qaeda and the ISIS.

Somali Welfare Fraud Supporting Extravagant Lifestyles,
Harems, Terror Abroad, Trips to Mecca, MN Senate Calls for Investigation

Fox 9 News released a bombshell investigative report this week alleging wide-spread welfare fraud in the Personal Care Attendant and CCAP (child care for low-income parents) programs. The state senate, in a quickly called hearing, heard extraordinary testimony from a former DHS investigator, Scott Stillman and others.

Former state employee Scott Stillman testifies about day care fraud in front of a Minnesota Senate committee Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Don Davis / Forum News Service
Here is the senate hearing link.

Here are some highlights:

This investigation, focused primarily on welfare payments for child care, is just getting started. The allegation is that as much as $100 million in welfare cash has left via the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport. Unlimited amounts of cash can be taken out of the U.S. as long as a form is submitted to customs.

The state disputes that the all cash could all come from its child care welfare program known as CCAP because the total budget for 2017 was just $248 million. Thirteen child care centers, however, have been closed since 2014 due to welfare fraud, and another 10 are under active investigation.

According to Fox News, “Sources in the Somali community told Fox 9 it is an open secret that starting a daycare center is a license to make money. The fraud is so widespread they said, that people buy shares of daycare businesses to get a cut of the huge public subsidies that are pouring in.”

Near the end at about 1:52:00, Sen. John Jasinski (R-Faribault) says he talked to county employees who told him, for example, that a family of 5 was getting $10,000 a month in child care and other welfare programs ($120K a year); when they go to higher ups to express concern they are told “We can’t bring this up.” County employees are afraid to testify.

At about 20:50, former DHS investigator Stillman says about Medicaid fraud, “The dollar amount, particularly personal care attendant fraud, way exceeds the day care fraud but most of that money is going to extravagant lifestyles, drugs, large houses. Things of that nature. But there’s no controls. I should say they’re inadequate.”

He went on to say that a federal investigation would reveal that there are “other entities” who are receiving “benefits” from this fraud. He points to shell companies used to launder the money. He said, “The PCA fraud and Medicaid fraud is rampant.”

He cited an $18 million plus fraud ring led by Lillian Richardson who went to prison; he says she fired up her welfare fraud business as soon as she got out of prison.

He cited the case of Barb Currin, who ran a $5 million fraud ring from Shakopee prison. Stillman asked authorities for her computer so he could track and recapture the funds; he was denied. He cited a Somali immigrant who used welfare fraud to run a harem of twelve women. He says there is a national security angle; that Minnesota taxpayer dollars are being used to support terror abroad, and that there are “impediments” to getting information, including data privacy laws.

Here is the press release from the Minnesota Senate on Thursday, May 17, 2018, it has links to all the news reports on this issue. This has the attention of Congressman Tom Emmer, who sit on the Financial Services Committee, and Sen. Ron Johnson, who sits on Homeland Security.

Senate Republicans propose independent state agency to root out fraud in Department of Human Services programs

(St. Paul. MN…) Republicans Sen. Jim Abeler (R-Anoka) and Sen. Michelle Benson (R-Ham Lake) are proposing the creation of an independent agency responsible for discovering and eliminating fraud in government assistance programs implemented by the Department of Human Services (DHS). The proposal comes in light of recent reports highlighting various types of fraud and oversight failures within DHS and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), including:

Millions of fraudulent payments from the Child Care Assistance Program
Millions of fraudulent payments to fake Personal Care Assistants
Hundreds of millions in fraudulent Medicaid benefits to people who were ineligible
Over 20,000 elder abuse complaints that went uninvestigated for months
“Reasonable people can agree that no matter how well a government assistance program is run, bad actors will still find a way to sneak through the cracks and steal from taxpayers. But there’s an intrinsic conflict of interest when the people investigating the fraud report directly to the people in charge of the programs they’re investigating,” said Sen. Abeler. “The investigators need freedom to do their jobs.”

The legislation directs DHS and MDH to create a plan for a new Department of Investigation, Compliance, and Eligibility that will house several oversight functions currently housed in those agencies, including the Office of Inspector General, the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC), and the Office of Health Facility Complaints (OHFC).

“For years, we’ve suspected widespread fraud and abuse in our government assistance programs, and for years these reports of fraud have been slowly leaking out. Now we have a former DHS employee blowing the whistle, telling us that what we’re seeing is just the tip of the iceberg. An independent agency is the only way to protect taxpayers from waste and abuse, and bring to light the whole truth about who is taking advantage of our generous assistance programs,” said Sen. Benson.

The proposal is included in the Omnibus Supplemental Appropriations bill conference committee report adopted by the House and Senate:

DEPARTMENT OF INVESTIGATION, COMPLIANCE, AND ELIGIBILITY.

It is the goal of the legislature to consolidate into one new state agency the licensing, background study, and related oversight functions currently in the Department of Human Services and Department of Health, including the Office of Inspector General, the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC), and the Office of Health Facility Complaints (OHFC).

The commissioners of human services and health shall work with the revisor of statutes to draft legislation establishing the new state agency, and provide the legislation to the chairs and ranking minority members of the senate and house of representatives committees with jurisdiction over health and human services by December 15, 2018, with the goal of the new state agency to begin operations on July 1, 2019.

$200 Million in Somali Welfare Fraud Paid for Trips to Mecca-
Rep. Ilhan Omar’s favorite restaurant, grabs taxes, claimed to be feeding 6,000 kids a day
Frontpagemagazine ^ | Feb 8, 2022 | Daniel Greenfield
Posted on 2/9/2022, 9:16:30 AM by SJackson

Feeding Our Future, the Minnesota food charity sponsor whose offices have been raided by the FBI over allegations of massive fraud that some estimates have placed in the hundreds of millions of dollars, claimed that it wants to make “the world a better place for all”.

10 members of FOF’s staff boast of speaking Somali, others of Arabic and related languages often spoken by Muslim minorities, but only 3 speak Spanish and only 1 knows Chinese. The organization’s Manager of Operations, Food Program Coordinators Manager, Food Program Support Manager, and multiple administrators, all appear to be Somali.

The contact page is decorated with a photo of a woman in a hijab chowing down on a burger.

The pandemic destroyed lives, hundreds of thousands died, millions lost their businesses and jobs, but a great river of government money flowed to those who knew how to play the game.

As The Counter notes, “In the early months of the pandemic, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) acted quickly to loosen rules governing how child nutrition programs had to operate. Gone were the strict nutrition guidelines, the group dining requirements, and the in-person inspections. Instead, the agency focused on cutting red tape as part of a broad effort to keep snacks and meals accessible to hungry families while mitigating the spread of Covid-19.”

In 2019, Feeding Our Future distributed $3.4 million in taxpayer food aid funds to the non-profits it was sponsoring, In 2020, that shot up to $42 million and then up to $197 million in 2021.

These were impressive numbers for a charity that seemed to focus on Somalis in Minnesota.

While there may be some hungry Somali Muslim kids in the Gopher State, $197 million would buy them all meals at five-star steakhouses before jetting them away from the snow to Vegas.

According to a lawyer for Aimee Bock, FOF’s founder, who isn’t Somali, but whose lawyer previously represented a Somali ISIS recruit, “all Ms. Bock did was feed children.”

When over 200 FBI agents converged on the offices of various non-profits, their search warrants claimed that the Somali aid groups received “tens of millions of dollars” but that “almost none of this money was used to feed children.” The FOF’s Minneapolis offices were near the Somali Abu Huraira mosque and not far from a multitude of Somali community organizations.

Some of the money allegedly went to Bock and her boyfriend, Empress Malcolm Watson Jr., apparently a bail bondsman tracking wanted fugitives, who had previously been arrested for domestic violence, and whose construction company received $600,000 from her non-profit.

The only client listed on its site has the first name, “Aimee”.

Bill Glahn, a reporter for American Experiment who has been investigating the case, noted that Empress Malcolm Watson, Jr. “has an impressively long list of encounters with local law enforcement. 4 felony convictions, one for theft by swindle and one for domestic assault” which is even bigger than the rap sheet of his revered father, Empress Malcolm Watson, Sr.

From there it gets quite complicated.

Abdikerm Abdelahi Eidleh, a Feeding Our Future employee, according to the FBI documents, controlled multiple target premises, opened over 20 bank accounts in the name of his various entities, and “solicited and received kickbacks” from the groups receiving child nutrition cash.

According to Feeding Our Future, the organization’s “extensive knowledge of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program” helped “child and adult care programs maximize their reimbursement”. These were the groups on whose behalf it acted as a sponsor.

Feeding Our Future was getting a 10% administrative fee off the top. But that wasn’t enough.

Safari Restaurant, which boasts “traditional Somali cuisine” like french fries and safari chicken quesadilla, where Rep. Ilhan Omar had celebrated her victory party, applied to participate in the Federal Child Nutrition program.

When the money was denied, Feeding Our Future complained that “minority-owned businesses serving almost exclusively economically disadvantaged children of color” were being denied the right to serve “culturally relevant foods” to “youth” during a “national emergency”.

Crying racism worked and at its peak Safari claimed to be feeding 6,000 children a day. That’s a lot of children. Documents note that the Somali eatery claimed to be serving a comparable number of meals to “the entire St. Paul public school district.”

Safari was just one of the many providers who claimed to be feeding thousands of children.

Glahn in American Experiment found that, “Feeding Our Future had 312 authorized sites for the program, approved for a maximum of 126,000 children.” That’s a lot of hungry Somali kids.

Oliver Twist, eat your heart out.

He also noted that, “Five of the sites are religious centers.”

The Feds staked out various Feeding Our Future meal sites and found no one at the places that were supposed to be feeding 50,000 children. According to the FBI, the money being stolen wasn’t used to feed children, it went into various shell companies and fronts operated by Somalis and was used to buy everything from a Porsche to African properties.

According to the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, S&S Catering led by Qamar Ahmed Hassan received $13.8 million in federal funds. The FBI warrants note that, “Qamar Ahmed Hassan wrote approximately $27,000 in checks from S&S Catering bank accounts... to Amax Travel, a travel agency that specializes in Haji travel packages.”

Haji is the Islamic obligation for every Muslim to visit their holy city of Mecca.

Amax offers trips to the Saudi cities of Mecca and Medina, that non-Muslims are banned from entering, five-star hotels, and tours led by Imams.

One of the non-profits associated with FOF, Stigma-Free International, was incorporated by Minneapolis City Council Member Jamal Osman. The Somali politician is a political ally of Rep. Ilhan Omar and has been photographed with her. He had previously been featured in a Project Veritas undercover investigation which appeared to show his brother “rifling through piles of ballots strewn across his dashboard” and declaring, “just today we got 300 for Jamal Osman.”

The man in question had also allegedly worked on Omar’s political campaign.

The scale and scope of the alleged fraud is as vast as the network that perpetrated it. The FBI warrants list numerous people, the vast majority of them Somali Muslims, a dizzying variety of non-profits that received the money, and a wide variety of destinations for the cash. The fraud was lubricated by false accusations of racism and discrimination by FOF and its recepients.

During the initial controversy, a video in support of Feeding Our Future at the Safari resteurant featured numerous local politicians, including Senator Omar Fateh, the first Somali Muslim in the state senate, who had been backed by the Democratic Socialists of America.

A Deputy District Director for Rep. Ilhan Omar gave what was described as an “impassioned speech” declaring, “This community is tired. It’s tired of the bulls—”

But it’s Americans who have every right to be tried.

Open borders migration is not feeding our future. It’s stealing our future away.
