Democrats, who have continuously had messaging problems through the current election cycle, have now blamed messaging itself for their failures months before the general election.
Democrats across the country are claiming they have “done a lousy job at highlighting their accomplishments in a year plus of unified power in Washington” and are using that as the source of their problems leading up to the November midterm elections, according to the Hill.
In fact, the Democrats believe they are in so much trouble that one strategist told the Hill, “I’m not going to BS. We’ve done a f—ing horrible job, and sometimes I think we deserve to lose big in November. Democrats can say whatever they want, but it’s not honest.” The strategist added that the Democrats “need to wake up fast” because they don’t have a narrative to push.
Even Hillary Clinton, who knows about failing when she lost against former President Donald Trump in 2016 and is rumored to be making a return, said her party needs to get better at touting accomplishments. Earlier this month, Clinton said, “I’m not quite sure what the disconnect is between the accomplishments of the administration, and this Congress, and the understanding of what’s been done, and the impact it will have on the American public.”

"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Insights welcome.
Patriots are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.
Again, insights welcome.
And what they really mean is that they haven’t succeeded in gaslighting and lying to,th people well enough that their asinine gorriblr policies should be accepted and embraced
It’s not the ‘messaging’, we understand your message perfectly…it’s the fn message…c’mon man…
Lol. No, they are wrong about this. Their message is getting through quite clearly.
The problem is always the messaging and never the policies with these RATS. Well now their policies are truly messing up the country and no messaging spin jobs can hide it anymore!
They just haven’t done a good enough job telling people how stupid they are for voting for democrats. And they have failed explaining how joe biden is really not groping children.
yeah that it, its the messaging.
We already know the impact it is having...
The Democrat strategy is based entirely on identifying the dumbest 51% of the electorate, and lying to them.
This strategy wins elections, but it does not improve lives.
One would think that the consistent failure of Democrat politicians to improve the standard of living of Americans would expose them as the liars and cheats that they are.
But that is only true for the smarter half - and Democrats only need the dumb half to get elected.
This is what they have said for years, when they are polling poorly. The truth is, most Americans do not like their actual policies. Americans used to often like what the media and pollsters said about their policies. The truth is different from what they say before elections.
I think by "messaging" they mean "our inability to stop our opponents from messaging."
“Republicans are the ones that have a messaging problem.”
GOP has at least 2 problems. Its leadership and half of its elected body at federal level are there for the ride. They have no ideas and if they did they have no interest in governing nor an ability to govern. They are very comfortable being assistant demonikraps. So you are right, they have a messaging problem in that they have no message.
Somewhere between a 1/3 - 1/2 of the rest are trying to do something and are either being targeted for take-down (e.g. Gaetz and Hawley) and/or being censored via the demonikrap-givernment-media-big tech-university alliance (Greene, Johnson, Marshburn, Kennedy). Compare level and type of the 1st year of coverage for AOC vs the first year coverage for Greene as another example. The censorship not only keeps the GOP fighters from being heard in the political arena thus keeping many people uniformed, but also for people that consider themselves Informed” or “interested”, many here FReepers, it demoralizes them to where they turn against the GOP.
My parents love what is going on in CA. They are lifelong democratic voters. They live in the foothills away from all the crime and homelessness. They consume the national evening news every night like good little plebes. And they think that Gavin Newsom is doing a great job. How the hell do you combat that. I have tried to reason with them calmly. Does not work. My sister has tried to put them in contact with alternative news that reports the actual news. Nope. They are just parroting what lies Fox news reports.
News flash: it’s not the “messaging.” It’s the substance.
Agreed but it shows you how they think. They’re basically saying they haven’t lied well enough. Just like they name their proposed bills - if it says “For the Children Act” it’s probably a “Abort Babies After Birth Act”.
Arrogant, delusional Democrats tend to be oblivious of how their actions are perceived. BTW,its not the “messaging”, its the actions and the message. Decent ,rational people understand it all too well.
