Steven Seagal travels to Moscow for a 70th birthday party with some of Putin's closest henchmen and promises to stand by them 'through thick and through thin' Steven Seagal was seen expressing love and support for close allies of Putin He gave a gushing speech at a party in Moscow for his 70th birthday on Sunday Several Russian elites currently subject to sanctions were in attendance The American actor is a longtime friend of Putin and has a Russian passport

Steven Seagal has been filmed expressing his love and support for close allies of Russian President Vladimir Putin during a lavish meal in Moscow on Sunday to celebrate his 70th birthday.

Video circulating on social media shows the former Hollywood action man giving a speech at the function on April 10, surrounded by several Russian elites targeted by Western sanctions amid Russia's war in Ukraine.

Polarising Russian state television presenter Vladimir Soloviev, who has openly backed Putin's invasion and accused Britain of orchestrating the horrific scenes of civilian massacres in Bucha, can be seen standing just to the left of Seagal.

Margarita Simonyan, one of Russia's leading pro-Kremlin media moguls and editor-in-chief of RT, was also in attendance, according to the Financial Times.

Both have been placed on the EU's sanctions list amid Russia's invasion of its neighbour.

Dressed in his customary black shirt and yellow-tinted glasses, the action star declared to the pro-Putin audience: 'Each and every one of you, you are my family and my friends. And I love all of you and we stand together

Putin is the bad actor here. The invasion of Ukraine is immoral on its’ face. My position on it has nothing to do with Biden or whoever the hell is really in charge in the WH.

If you oppose the invasion of Ukraine, by default you support Biden, Soros, Charles Schwab (I know, it’s the other one), and you’re a “globalist” and “neocon”. Did I cover everything?

I support the Ukrainians kicking the living crap out of Russia and proving, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the Russian military isn’t even a third tier force anymore. They’re a joke and Putin now knows his ‘trusted advisors’ have been lying to him for years.

My feeling too. Why are so many conservatives joining the Biden Train?

Some of them aren’t conservatives, and are politically far left.

You won’t see them posting anything in regards to abortion, homosexuality, or other conservative issues. It’s like holding up a crucifix to a vampire.

They started dogpiling the day the war started to back the Biden Administration.

Ukraine under the Biden-approved Zelensky violated practically all of the earlier agreements with Russia. Actually, it’s been doing so since 2014, when we replaced the Ukrainian government.

I travel a lot and I was in Russia about 4 years ago. I met a Russian-speaking Ukrainian who said that the reason Putin was popular was actually because he imposed the rule of law and got things back on track after the collapse of the Soviet Union, when everything was ruled by gangs.

If Ukraine hadn’t been bought and sold by the Biden Crime Family, I might be more sympathetic. But I don’t see any reason for us to go rushing into an undeclared war and spending big bucks arming some third-rate Eastern European country. It has a lot of resources and is a corridor to the sea, which is why the Bidens were drooling over it. But it’s one of the poorest in Europe, in terms of its population. Probably because graft and corruption gets most of the income.

That’s another thing. I don’t understand the hand-wringing about “going to war over Ukraine” when we aren’t. Were we “going to war over Afghanistan” when we armed the Afghans back in the 80s? If you don’t think we have a national interest in Russia losing and becoming more isolated and less powerful, I can’t help you.

You’re missing the point. Of course Russia is a bad actor. SO ARE UKRAINE AND NATO. The fascist USA is perhaps the greatest threat of all. Come on guys, you have a government in office that stole an election and arranged a coup in Ukraine. Political prisoners are rotting in DC jails. Tech corporations are more or less eliminating free speech, the Constitution is in the toilet, black thugs burn down city blocks and execute police officers, your youth aren’t sure if they’re male or female, your military is full of sexual freaks and deviants but Russia is the problem!?

Come off it. Russia is evil and the West is evil. Sure it’s better Russia is beaten but stop this play acting of good guys vs bad guys. It’s bad vs worse and I’m not sure which is which.

Take a wild guess. Who do think is the roughneck grunt labor in Russian oil and gas drilling, production, piping to Europe and China? What Russian ethnicities?

A stolen election does not give a KGB thug/murderer the moral high ground in this. Nor does transgenderism, homosexuality, violent riots, or big tech censorship. That you even think it might says volumes about you and your “perspective” here.

Not high ground. No. But there’s nothing for the west to fight for in opposing Putin. Russia sucks; the war sucks; the West sucks. Sure Putin is wrong and bad. But the West is pure evil in its own way. No point in kicking Putin’s ass simply to benefit the EU or NATO.

Russia and the West are both fascist powers fighting for world domination. So you want to beat Russia - to protect what? The Ukrainian fascists? EU bureaucrats with their own soft fascism? American hyperimperial dictatorship? What is it you’re trying to protect? Ukraine is a worthless puppet state with no value whatsoever. There’s no benefit in supporting it.

There is no such thing as “transgenderism”, just a bunch of psychotic freaks who like to mutilate their own genitalia. Your use of the word as if it has some sort of legitimacy speaks to YOUR irrational, perverted perspective. This is a conservative website, not for your ilk.

No one said a KGB thug has the right to order an invasion. What I am saying is freakshow America has no moral right to oppose it. It’s like saying a criminal has no right to commit a crime. BUT another criminal doesn’t have the right to arrest or prosecute him.

Transgenderism and homosexuality are both mental illnesses in my book. That you want to believe I’m somehow giving them legitimacy is laughable, but that’s beside the point. I still believe that America is a flawed, but fundamentally good country and I believe the same thing about our people. What you’re espousing here is same kind of crap I’ve heard the America-hating left spew all my life. During the Vietnam era, post-9/11, etc. on and on ad nauseum. Conservatives aren’t moral relativists. If you think there’s someone who doesn’t belong here maybe you need to look in the mirror.

America WAS a flawed but fundamentally good country - the best in fact. Please note the past tense. WAS. America is no longer a fundamentally good country, but an evil one. The least evil yes but nonetheless no longer good. Not as bad as Canada or Germany, but the evil ones are in charge now. Given the sheer scale of American power plus its fall to evil, it is now easily the most dangerous nation on the planet. Beware your sentimental attachment to the America that was - it exists no longer.
