wildfire that has burned over 100 structures in the hills near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is nearing full containment, Tennessee Wildland Fire officials said.
Just over 3,700 acres of land have been scorched from the Hatcher Mountain Road/Indigo Lane Fire, but firefighters now report 85% containment.

I find it hard to believe the whole country is not at risk from acts of violence on a larger scale.

They wouldn’t have wildland equipment and wildland crews if wildland fires weren’t somewhat common.
It stands out because they are relatively small compared to the ones out west and they fill the climate change narrative.
They are fairly common this time of year as the spring rains haven’t really pushed the spring growth yet.

I think the Gatlinburg fire a few years ago might’ve been worse.
Plus, she got all woke and changed the Dixie Stampede at Dollywood to Stampede because the word Dixie offends people.

In the 1970’s the American Independent Party had its national headquarters in Pigeon Forge. This was more or less the Dixiecrat wing of the conservative movement.

The big one in Gatlinburg was a young teen shooting flaming arrows for fun that caught the woods on fire.
