Nick I’ve heard a couple of interviews with the guy and judged him to be leftist as heck. No, I don’t have transcripts of the interviews. What are you making a statement on FR into a big deal? I “smeared him”? Do you want to have his baby or something?

Fantastic drummer. Best when he was with Genesis and Gabriel was out front singing.

Solo stuff ... not so much.

Billie Jean is the ONLY song by any Jackson that I ever liked. Still do.

I saw Genesis at Madison Square Garden in the late 80s. They opened with Mama with Phil singing with a spotlight underneath his face. Very cool. The little teeny boppers in front of me were dancing to “Invisible Touch” later in the concert, but when I stood up and screamed at the beginning of “apocalypse in 9/8” they looked at each other in a confused manner because they had never heard that music. Generational karma… One of the first times I felt like an old man.

Google his collection. A bunch of the items were deemed suspect on whether there was an Alamo connection to the items.

She played Edith Bratt in “Tolkien”: the love of JRRT’s life, and the inspiration for Luthien Tinuviel (and, by extension, Arwin Undomiel).

I’ve never cared much for his pop music.

Phil Collins’ Big Band , though, is sublime.

Any Genesis fan knows Tony Banks made Genesis

Lol. We’ll, all of the ‘Big 3” were special when they were together. But, it was the drumming that always grabbed me. And, I’m a keyboard player. (Not remotely close to Tony’s level).

The first time I saw them was in the old Sam Houston Coliseum. It wasn’t even full. It was either 73 or 74. I don’t remember the exact date. Was in my first year of High School.

I saw the 84 show in the Summit.
