I will wait for the General to be paraded down the main street of Kiev.
If true.....
“This story is true”.
So says a Twitter Twatter.
Oh well. I have no more reason to believe or disbelieve anything from Twitter as I do anything from the MSM.
So there's no reason for us to get involved.
Loose lips. Let things happen.
i will believe it when the good russian commander is given the same treatment, that a South Vietnamese general gave a captured Viet Cong fighter, live, in the street!
“❗️It is reported that the #Russian occupiers in #Bucha, #Irpen, and #Gostomel are cut off from supplies and surrounded.”

“Absolutely not ready to confirm if the Ukrainian military are really surrounding the Russian group in the Hostomel-Irpin-Bucha triangle. But what is true is that there have been intense fighting several nights in a row, and Ukrainian units were very active cleaning out Irpin.”

True or not, I don’t think China is going to take Taiwan by force anytime soon. Russia can just walk or drive into Ukraine. There is 100 miles of ocean between Taiwan and the mainland. Logistics under duress is not a winning formula.
I’m all for the Ukrainians, but surrounding some troops is not the same as surrounding the Russian army.
Go post that crap on DU.
They might buy it.
The Ukrainian generals must have studied the scene from A Bronx Tale where the bikers go into the mob bar.
Ukrainian general = Sonny
Bikers = Dumb cannon fodder Russian troops
Wiseguys coming out of back room with baseball bats = Ukrainian honey badgers
“NOW NONE OF YOU ARE LEAVING.”
Perhaps Russian reinforcements will come along and make it a three ring siege.
I had no idea the whole Russian army was at Bucha, Ukraine. What a fantastic coup for the Ukrainians.
In a war of this scale, there are undoubtedly small units of both sides that get cutoff/surrounded. Without knowing the size of the unit, its basically meaningless.
Even the guy reporting this is astounded that the Russians never switched off the power. Any theories on why not?
Now that the Russians have surrounded the outside of Kiev, they can keep their heroic offensive moving toward the inside of Kiev from all directions.
I’ve seen this guys reporting before: he’s been very cautious about claims from both sides, so he’s reporting it there’s a good chance it’s true. I also saw a map of Russian and Ukrainian positions around Kiev earlier today that showed the Ukrainians advancing from the west and east north of Bucha. If they linked up, any Russians inside are trapped.
