At Sea with the FSO: Navalny’s team links mysterious $700-million superyacht to Russian President Vladimir Putin

Working in exile, Alexey Navalny’s team of anti-corruption activists have released a new investigation linking a $700-million superyacht to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The luxury vessel, officially registered to an offshore company in the Marshall Islands, is allegedly crewed by members of Russia’s Secret Service (the FSO).

The Scheherazade is one of only 14 yachts in the world that are at least 140 meters (459 feet) long — and according to The New York Times, it’s the only superyacht of its kind whose owner isn’t publicly unknown. On paper, the ship belongs to an offshore company from the Marshall Islands...

Team Navalny was unable to uncover documentary evidence that the yacht belongs to Vladimir Putin. However, in the words of lead investigator Maria Pevchikh, they were able to find “better proof” linking the Scheherazade to Putin: allegedly, officers from Russia’s Secret Service — the Federal Protective Service (FSO), which is primarily tasked with guarding the Russian president — work on board the ship.

The ship’s captain, Guy Bennet-Pearce, is apparently a British national; the rest of the crew are Russian citizens. Using the passport details of the crew members and leaked airtravel data, Navalny’s associates found that the people working on board the ship fly to Italy “as if on rotation.”

The investigation also found that contact information for the ship’s chief officer, Sergey Grishin, is saved in various people’s phones as “Sergey FSO.” In addition, Grishin’s registered address is in Sochi, where the FSO’s Caucasus branch is located.

“On the first two pages of the crew list alone, we see 23 people, of which almost half have ties to the FSO...people are working on it who are officially listed as Putin’s bodyguards and personal staff,” says lead investigator Maria Pevchikh in the video.

Putin doesn’t need a country for asylum. That yacht qualifies as a place of exile all on its own.

I say seize it, refit it, and hand it off to the Ukrainians as a new gunboat.

If Bortnikov deposes him, Putin could spend the rest of his days on the high seas, never able to put into port anywhere...

Putin is the biggest corrupt thief of them all. Him and his oligarch pals have stolen hundreds and hundreds of billions from the Russian people.

Navalny is the guy who was in jail. He’s the deep state’s choice to rule. He will be in the Biden, Trudeau mold.

Putin sucks, but they hate him as bad as the Bidenbots here do. I have to give the the NWO credit. They never lose.

He’ll still need fuel...and supplies.

Sorta like his army does.

Navalny will play the role of Chiang-Kai-Shek or the Shah’s son, in safe exile somewhere until the Pukin regime eventually falls.

I have often thought it would be cool to own a large yacht (not that I could afford one), but then I realize there would be no privacy whatsoever due to the necessity of a crew and it would always be a target of pirates.

I’ll put you down as one is in favor of Big Governments seizing private property without due process. When you are the victim of Civil Forfeiture, don’t come crying back here.

Exactly so. It seems like a rather fun life. A perpetual round the world cruise. I could do that.

There are lots of places they should be able to dock at and buy supplies. Money talks.

So ... every other superyatch has an owner who IS publicly UNKNOWN? Me thinks the translation is bolloxed!

There is a company called Searchlight Holdings in the Marshall Islands that may have been laundering money to Senator Harry Reid.
