Neil Oliver, We Watch Russia Through the Barred Windows of Our Own Despotism
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 26 Feb, 2022 | Sundance

Posted on 02/27/2022 6:31:26 AM PST by MtnClimber

Neil Oliver delivers his remarks this weekend expressing genuine sympathy for the people in Ukraine yet distrusting the constant bombardment by those demanding we pay attention to it.

We watch Russia, but after all our own leaders have shown us in the past two-years, amid their COVID authorized lusts for power, it is a wide-open and wary eye our leaders are trying to move. WATCH: (video at link)

A wounded water buffalo was spotted trying to give birth on the dangerous Serengeti Plain, CNN International reports if Russia had not annexed Crimea, it wouldn’t have happened. Early tomorrow morning, a man in Wisconsin will miss his bus, because the battery in his alarm clock ran out; if only Putin had not disrupted the global supply chain these issues would not be happening.

The drawbridge near Baton Rouge Louisiana was stuck yesterday – MSNBC angrily confirms Putin caused it. In New York, a once joyful fifth grade teacher’s chalk broke in half right when she was about to use it on the blackboard; Margaret Brennan points the glare at Ukraine.

If the stock market climbs, or falls, or stays the same, we can be certain that Moscow had something to do with it.

When the planes arrive/depart typically late, CBS finds a way to make NATO responsible for it – if the sanctions had only come sooner.

When the sun rises today, it will only be because President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spent all night on his knees knitting sweaters for homeless kittens while fending off Russian special forces and making phone calls to the European commission. George Stephanopoulos has all the details.

The innocent people of the Ukraine were already suffering from the decadence and corruption of their own (supposedly) elected leaders.

We should learn from this without getting emotionally involved.

You are correct. The people of the Ukraine will be better off after their country is rid of the money laundering, child trafficking, drug runners that are currently running the show there. If Biden, Hillary etc. Are howling then you know what’s happening isn’t such a bad thing.

Just a continuation of the same old "Russia stole the election from Hillary and owns Trump" narrative, that the fiction writers in the Democrat/corporate/media establishment have been pushing for years. No need to change anything - it put Brandon in the White House, and Pelosi & Schumer in control of Congress...

Soros Ran US Foreign Policy on Post-Coup Ukraine

Wayne Madsen

August 30, 2016
A tranche of some 2500 Internal documents, mostly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point files, as well as pdf files, from George Soros’s Open Society Foundation (OSF) network of non-governmental organizations, which were obtained from the group «DC Leaks», shows that Soros and his advisers lorded over US policy toward Ukraine after the 2014 coup supported by Soros and the Obama administration ousted the democratically-elected Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych and his government. The leaked Soros documents describe how the OSF and Soros’s International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), based at 46 Artema Street in Kiev, worked with the US State Department after the 2014 so-called «Euromaidan» themed revolution to ensure that a federalized Ukraine was not in the picture.

“The innocent people of the Ukraine were already suffering from the decadence and corruption of their own (supposedly) elected leaders.”

Where in the world did you get the idea they elected their leaders. Ever hear of the Maidan Revolution back in 2014?

If not read about it at the link below.

This war started years ago by the same people who brought you U.S. presidential eavesdropping, impeachment, and the 2020 election of Xiden.

They have sham elections, like a lot of other places.

Yes. Don’t we know — up close and personal!

I have been a YUGE fan of Neil’s historical documentaries on BBC for years but could never quite nail down his politics. The things written about him during the Scottish Independence vote, and again during the Brexit, gave me to believe he was a bit left of center. But the man I see and hear in this video very much reminds me of a more eloquent, more urbane, more impudent and every bit as right-of-center Rush Limbaugh.

Color me impressed, and mightily so.
