Not really. Secession might be suggested today to the minds of God-fearing moral people as a solution to the ongoing social crisis. Such folks are critical to a conservative future in America. Is there a moral alternative for them beside submitting to Democrat tyranny?

No, these items are the misapplication of the 14th Amendment, and if the 14th didn't exist, they would have be created by some other judicial fiat.
Have you read the 14th amendment? The first part is mostly okay, though it does have some serious problems too, but the remaining portion is utterly mucked up. It pretty much establishes the "incorporation doctrine" and leaves it up to the courts to define anything any which way they wish to define it.
It transfers far too much power to the Federal courts, and it creates the legal underpinnings for their abuse of original intent.
The intent of the 14th may be laudable, but the way it is written just begs for abuse by the all powerful Federal authorities.
To common sense people, the 14th never meant to create any of that crap, but unfortunately the Federal courts disagree.

It puts you on the horns of a dilemma in which you have to condemn One tyrant for invading another country that wanted independence, while defending another tyrant that invaded another country that wanted independence.

Lincoln called for the passage of the "Corwin Amendment". (in his first inaugural address.) This amendment would have made slavery permanent in the US.
His concern was not slavery, it was loss of economic control over the Southern states which were producing approximately 72% of all the revenues for the government at that time.
Even worse, the loss of control over the trade of the Southern states would have economically devastated his powerful wealthy supporters in the Northeast.
As you recall, my sole focus in these discussions is the reality that Southern secession was motivated entirely by the issue of slavery, which of course doesn’t support what you wish to believe. So your waste of bandwidth for a stupid vanity is another epic fail.
Right. Kansas’ admission to the union was what triggered the war. Not Arizona, not New Mexico. Kansas. And California’s central valley relies on immigration to provide CONSISTENT water supply, but that doesn’t mean they can produce nothing without immigration. The fact that their income would swing wildly depending on drought years and prosperous years only tips the balance ever moreso towards slave agriculture. And then there’s Washington, Oregon, Nebraska...
No, I am saying that the situation is different. Ukraine and breakaway republics are more comparable to Northern and Southern states than Russia and Ukraine. You didn’t even address that point.
Given that Russia wants to prevent Ukraine from entering NATO, the situation is more analogous to the US invading Cuba under the Monroe Doctrine.
The 14th amendment, like the 2nd amendment, has been perverted to mean something different than what the authors intended. You can argue if it is poorly written, but it doesn’t change the original intent.
I worry about that too. That stolen election will likely result in massive bloodshed worldwide.
Taiwan is likely the next shoe to drop.
Everyone involved in that stolen election, and most especially the gutless Republicans who failed to stand up in opposition to it, deserve to be running in fear of their lives if the public ever wakes up to what they have done.

I’m saying that the Civil War has been debated endlessly on FR.
Whether or not secession is a right of the each state in the US needs to be argued on its own merits. What is going on in Europe is immaterial to that argument, and what has happened in the past sets precedent, but is not 100% binding on future decisions.
