Who gains from a war?

Martial law declared.

November elections canceled.

Russia has gained big from the war hype, as well as the West’s stupid ESG/green policies

Russia just announced that its trade surplus with the EU rose from $15 billion in 2020, to $67 billion in 2021

Putin to the sock-puppet Biden and Blinken: Thank you! Keep up the good work!

Dear Dmitry:
It’s not “The Americans”…

It’s “The Democrats”.

Two entirely different entities. Mutually exclusive.

Think “Russians” and “communists”… and then you’ll understand.

The Canadians don’t seem to have trouble with that sort of thing.

“Yes, of course the relationship between the two countries is complicated, but there was no question of any attack; it was invented by the Americans,”

The Russians probably understand not too many years ago the average American looked at their government as a mostly a legitimate institution, who did not seem overly concerned with controlling everything everyone did in life. Most people back then actually trusted government somewhat, trusted the FBI, trusted their elected officials, elections, etc. Seems like a different planet back then.

Now? I'm sure Putin and the Russians fully understand many Americans have little if any trust left in their government. In fact they probably know full well many American's have nothing but burning contempt for what their government has become. It's really hard to hide it when government's become punitive weapons against their own people while developing policies only our enemies love. Policies so damn bad, they can be mistaken for sabotage on a national scale.

Ukrainians and Russians are all related in some way. Half of the marriages in my old hometown are Russian/Ukrainians. The animosity was always between them and the Polish people.

All the way back to the Cold War it was well known that Muscovites were some of the most virulently racist people on earth, discriminating against other Caucasian European ethnic groups who no one outside of that circle could have told apart.
