Who gains from a war?
Martial law declared.
November elections canceled.
“Who gains from a war?”
Not sure if there was ever going to be one. Russia was possibly giving them little taste of their power to intimidate them. But Russia will, by gaining control of the Ukraine again, (1991) will definitely be taking a step up by being in the Ukraine energy reserves.
Ukraine holds 39 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of proven gas reserves as of 2017, ranking 23rd in the world and accounting for about 1% of the world’s total natural gas reserves of 6,923 Tcf. Ukraine has proven reserves equivalent to 35.7 times its annual consumption.
Russia, on the other hand, holds 80,000,000,000 barrels of proven oil reserves as of 2016, ranking 8th in the world and accounting for about 4.8% of the world’s total oil reserves of 1,650,585,140,000 barrels. Russia has proven reserves equivalent to 60.4 times its annual consumption.
Both countries continue to grow in this area and they will be in on the ground floor of the consumption growth expected to be back to pre-pandemic levels and going up by the end of 2022 according to S&P Global. The Ukraine would be a great nest egg for Russia who really didn’t care a lot about it when they separated 30 years ago. Now they have worth and both are producing well beyond consumption levels in each country. Plenty to sell.

Why would our cowards in DC risk their hides with Russia? It’s just another Russia hoax.
IMO, the Deep State is trying to provoke military action between the two countries.
