Great news, everyone! The surge in U.S. COVID-19 cases caused by the omicron variant has peaked and is rapidly sliding back down to pre-omicron levels.
A chart posted by Our World in Data shows quite clearly that omicron is in the rearview mirror. U.S. new daily COVID cases peaked mid-January at just over 803,000 and have been sliding rapidly back down to background-noise status.
More good news: even though the Jan. 2022 peak of new daily cases is over triple the number from Jan. 2021 (which peaked at almost 252,000), hospitalizations are occurring at a rate of about 15% less than a year ago. And omicron’s daily death rate peaked at 7.64 per million people, as opposed to 10.22 per million just a year ago when the delta variant was dominant. This data manifestly confirms that, even though omicron spreads faster than chlamydia at a CNN company picnic, it’s by far the least virulent strain of the coronavirus we’ve seen yet.
One would think that such good news would be shouted from the rooftops by our establishment media and politicians! But that won’t be the case. Instead, watch for the lamestream to continue hyping new cases and extreme outcomes as the Left keeps pushing their mandates and mask-ups. COVID public health policies have morphed into such an incredibly effective way to monitor and hurt those who don’t follow ze orders that we will have to pry these tools from Big Left’s cold, voted-out hands. So plan on the mandates and COVID burkas to stay in place until they’re slapped down by judges and/or voters.

They can shove those tests up their behinds. I would take them and smash them on the pavement in front of my Karen neighbor just to watch her cry.
We received ours less than a week after ordering.
We had already bought some to use for work requirements, so haven’t used them yet. We’re saving for when we think we might get the Wu.
We got ours today. I have no intention on using them but our son must test regularly as a condition of employment so he just got four tests on the backs of the taxpayers.
4 tests in the gov’t kit.
The others I bought from Amazon, have 2 tests per kit.
I ordered mine January 18 and have yet to receive a tracking number from the USPS telling me it has been shipped.
Mine has four tests.
I just ignored the “Joe Biden is my homeboy” sticker they included.
Toss those things in the trash.

I work in the small city of Novato, California. They still have a few paper-Newspapers, one is the Novato Advance.

Taking a covid test when you are not ill is silly. It’s virtually the equivalence of taking a pregnancy test if you haven’t had sex. Should we test weekly? Daily? Hourly? Good Lord! The paranoia of an over 99% survivable virus has shattered all records of hysteria.
The ones I got were from Korea.

Bought some Binax a few months ago plus family member gets some from work.
Agreed. Yet my employer makes me get tested weekly. Those are resources someone might need. I can blow crap with 1000 pound warheads over vast distance but can’t operate a home test kit to their standards. This pandemic is a scam. Power, control and trillions of dollars to steal from.

I spent a few bucks to get some kits made in USA from a manufacturer I trust more than brandon.
