Aortic valve stenosis, or AS, is a heart condition that often shows no symptoms until it’s already too late.
The condition is when the heart's aortic valve narrows, reducing or blocking blood flow from the heart into the main artery to the body (aorta).
This can cause chest pain, dizziness, fatigue, or a rapid, fluttering heartbeat in the more severe and life-threatening cases.
Some people are more prone to getting it, including those of older age, with diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart conditions from birth.
Given the ageing of the UK population, it is thought that there may be a large pool of as yet undiagnosed people.
Researchers in the UK and Australia set out to estimate how many people could be living with the condition now, and of those, how many are at risk of death.
They did this using population data and previous estimates of aortic valve stenosis prevalence.
According to their calculations, the overall prevalence of severe aortic stenosis among the over 55s in the UK in 2019 could be almost 1.5 per cent - equal to around 300,000 at any one time.
Just under 200,000 (68 per cent) were symptomatic - meaning they had severe disease that would be eligible for surgery...

I’m not exactly sure what you went thru, but it sounds like you got the shaft. A case for SSDI can be started with medical documentation supporting your disability *once* a worker is placed on long-term disability from short-term disability (usually 120 days). LTD is usually where a injured worker needs assistance.
I’ve been noticing that more and more people believe less and less every day. And not just about politics. About everything. Many have reached the point where mental doors are as closed off as a bank vault. Nothing gets in. Nothing is believed. You could have a friend tell you something. You won’t believe it. You could see a video of something. You won’t believe it. You could be physically at a location and something happens. Even then you won’t believe it.
But you WILL believe ANYTHING from almost any source, even if that source is debunked. I don’t understand why so many will believe totally crackpot “VACCINES ARE EVERYTHING” stuff or proven false outright or proven false because timelines are wrong, yet will disbelieve something you might see with your own eyes. (like an article timestamp)
To me, this is a symptom of “mind-lock”. You’ve chosen what tidbits you’ll allow past your ever-thickening castle walls, and those tidbits are increasingly irrational or based on total nonsense. This will lead IMO to the inevitable conclusion of never believing anything again. That’s a very dangerous place to go. I understand why it’s come to this, but damn, you gotta not let yourselves go into mind-lock. It’s my thought that this will eventually drive you insane, in the classic, literal sense. You’re locked in your tight little world, and nothing gets in. Many of you are nearly there already (and you know who you are.)
My hope is that you’ll read my little rant and start thinking about it more. I’m not trying to tell you to “believe more;” I’m trying to tell you to climb off that merry-go-round to mental and emotional shutdown. Some of you are sick mentally and emotionally. Don’t get caught in the biggest trap of conspiracy. A conspiracy involving more than maybe 20 people isn’t possible. There are too many chances for people to talk and spill the beans.
What IS real, however, are powerful pharma execs using lobby connections to influence corrupt politicians who think they aren’t even human anymore. The media will also take their money.
This happens right in front of us. Watch the news programs sponsored by Pfizer, for instance.
This isn’t a conspiracy because there are too many people involved. This is what happened when President Trump took the leash off pharma and let them do “whatever it takes to find a cure”. Pharma is KNOWN for many decades to be evil and greedy. They would rationalize killing tens of thousands of people - if not more - for big profits.
What’s going on today is right in line with that. There is no room for doubt. Not a conspiracy just business as usual for corrupt elites.

But observations not always said:
It’s clear that BOTH the Covid virus AND the vaccine are causing heart and clot issues.
It’s also clear that people vaccinated are way less likely to have a severe case of it and be hospitalized .
Do you need the vaccine if you are healthy and 35? Probably not, not worth the risk of vaccine side affects .
Do you need the vaccine if you just recovered from Covid ?
Probably not.
Does the vaccine keep you from shedding the Covid virus ?
It used seem the answer was yes, but it seems that it likely doesn’t stop that .
If these issues weren’t sliced and diced by both sides, we could have a rational discussion and find where the truth resides .
The left started the vaccine misinformation when they downplayed the vaccines because they were developed under Trump.

‘Considerable’ Aortic Stenosis Burden in UK Begs Money and a Plan
Anew study is shedding some light on the growing number of people with severe aortic stenosis (AS) in the United Kingdom, with researchers reporting that there is a large burden of disease. The majority of these patients would benefit from surgery or transcatheter aortic valve intervention, they conclude.
The new data also hint at challenges the National Health Service (NHS) will face to meet the demand.
“The magnitude of the estimated prevalence is considerable,” senior author Huon Gray, MD (Emeritus National Clinical Director of Heart Disease, NHS), told TCTMD. “If we were to treat every patient who is symptomatic, which is roughly two-thirds of the 300,000 people with severe aortic stenosis in the UK, that constitutes quite a significant healthcare challenge. And the one-third who are asymptomatic, or at least don’t report symptoms or have unrecognized symptoms, their prognosis will be poor if they don’t get access to [clinical] investigation and possible treatment.”
Published this week in Open Heart, the primary goal of the study was to estimate how many people in the UK might need evidence-based treatment for severe AS. The NHS, said Gray, has come to view valvular disease as a burgeoning problem: the NHS Long Term Plan, which was published in 2019, emphasized that heart valve disease had been relatively underrecognized....
