This isn’t 1950’s Age of Innocence anymore.
It’s too bad we can’t act like everyday life
in the U.S. isn’t deadly, deadly perilous.

Pink eye was mentioned as one problem she has. Very likely a herpes infection. The valtrex they are giving her would tend to confirm it. Also, there is a deadly form of herpes (deadly to humans) that some monkeys carry. I read a story a few years back of a lab tech that came into contact with a monkey in the lab, and ended up dying from that particular form of herpes.

The woman trying to pet the monkeys who were just in a truck accident is akin to the people you read about who cross over fences at a Zoo in order to pet the big kitty cat who devours their arm or people in Yellowstone National Park who approach a wild buffalo with a calf to get a close up picture and are surprised when the buffalo attacks and throws them around like a rag doll....

It’s the responsibility of the USDA to ensure the animals are secured safely and humanely while in transport. Maybe this will be a step on the road to beefing up enforcement of quarantine regulations (not that they should be experimented on in the first place).

The translation of this stinks to high heaven, and makes me think

We need to be careful not repeat stories that might be setting up us conservatives for ridicule.(need better/more confirmation)

Pink eye was mentioned as one problem she has.

Pink eye comes from feces, which monkeys love to play with and throw at anyone around them.

This is why everyone should wash their hands after using the toilet.

The lady in your GIF got the good monkey. Orangs are good natured and extremely intelligent. And, as shown in your videos, have good moves.

Macaques are nasty. Also, they harbor something called "Virus B", which is a simian virus that is neurotropic in humans and potentially deadly.
