Also see "illegal immigration" - the RC church was instrumental in forcing the moslem invasion on Europe. They are now repeating that process with illegals from South/Central America and Mexico invading the USA - with the church facilitating the invasion and NOT GIVING ANY WARNING to its membership.
My niece went to a Catholic school which was the most Communist place I’d ever seen. And that was in the ‘90s.
There is a solution, but folks will not take it.
The Church hasn’t gone full-blown communist, but a fellow traveler outlook is now fairly common in what presently passes for leadership. For what the Church actually teaches on social subjects, read social encyclicals, and what JP II teaches on the subject is every bit as authoritative and much more extensive, important, and articulate as what his successors have taught (Benedict is really good on some areas, but this isn’t his field).
At points part of the Church passed as citadels in the culture war, but the thing has devolved into Stalingrad.
In my youth I constantly reiterated that I wanted to be a boy. This mostly centered around my fascination with A) motorcycles B) firearms and C) freedom. I didn’t ever want to squeeze girls, although, like most people, I don’t mind the sight of a gorgeous gal at all. There’s something uplifting about it, as long as it’s not one of the K4rdash1ans.
I’m really, really glad that this wasn’t going on when I was a kid. Being female is not exactly a picnic, but there are lots of benefits.
Someone could easily have talked me into something like this when I was little, though.
Jesus: I would have talked you out of it, though.
Me: Oh, come on! Surely you have more important things to worry about!
JC: Check your pants.
I respectfully disagree with part of that statement. The communist RC doesn't push that transgender BS in communist China where the Chicoms are trying hard to move away from effeminate male heroes. They push that only on the mostly Protestant west.
I have found the same in Catholic school but it is less pronounced than criminal public schools
This is what happens when parents don’t do their homework. Get involved with the school. Get to know the teachers and administration. Go to the Parent-Teacher conferences and ask questions. I’m hoping that 2020/21 will be known as the “Great Parent Awakening.”
Considering the Catholic church hides child molesters, why would anyone think they are anything but extreme left-wing liberals?
They should have home-schooled the daughter. They spent more time dealing with idiots in the school than they would have by home-schooling her. But, I guess they were trying to keep a Catholic school from going full-blown apostate.
Gender dysphoria is a real disorder, but like gluten intolerance, for every genuine sufferer there are at least a dozen who are just trying it on for attention, especially among teenagers. The difference is those pretending to be gluten intolerant do not maim their own bodies irreversibly.
As a lifelong tomboy I’m glad I was born when I was. Children do not yet have a clear concept of self and will often say whatever they think will please the adults in their lives. Trans activists have gone so far left they’ve met the far right in insisting that if you prefer RPGs, coding, and entomology to frilly dresses and makeup you can’t be a “real” woman. The Procrustean gender roles remain, only now we change the children’s genitals to match their hobbies rather than changing their hobbies to match their genitals.
So Catholic schools now have the time to deal with and accommodate gender-confused and all their issues, and our daughter was just expelled from a Catholic school with some anxiety issues...I see there’s a few more reasons now to be disappointed in them.
Long article, but a must read.
What’s missing from it, though, is much reference to the daughter’s perspective and attitude over time. Was she rebellious, did she actively oppose the parents’ position? What was the quality of her social life, particularly with its core, her family life?
Anyone involved in this kind of situation should be asking how much time their child spends with parents, siblings, relatives, and how much time elsewhere (particularly how much time on social media).
Children need a healthy social life. As our ancestors would put it, it “builds character.” Indeed it builds identity. Particularly at puberty, a child needs direction and guidance. There’s a lot of crazy fads, always have been, and some of them become mass delusions; an adolescent is psychologically vulnerable.
Then there’s the family atmosphere. Parents look the other way, too long. Two jobs, so they can “make ends meet,” but they seldom reassess those chosen ends. And they trust the schools, they feel relief that the children are home in their rooms. Well, they’re not in their rooms. They’re on the internet.
I actually know a couple with a daughter who was a normal, pretty girl at 13; now 19 and already a cat lady and apparent lesbian (apparent because she has no partner, nor even a close friend of either sex). The girl dresses like a boy (boys are now boys, up to 30 years old, to judge by their attire). She never goes anywhere, except on the internet. The mother’s not just beautiful, but glamorous; her only daughter, while attractive, could not hope to follow in those footsteps. The father’s a grouch who criticizes the children constantly. The three teenaged brothers are all rather metro, passive, and depressed. And according to the mother, they don’t even get together for dinner on holidays; they let the kids go where they want to go.
The family bonds need to be strong. The parent in the article caught on before long, but the lesson is clear. You can’t depend on anyone else to raise your child, to guide your child, to care for your child.
Adolescence is the danger zone, when a child starts to think for himself — and you think that’s exactly what he’s doing.
No, he’s looking for suggestions on what to think, and the wicked are eager to tell him.
They need to homeschool their daughter.
Catholic schools cannot be depended on to actually teach Catholicism. Many of them are run by left-wing graduates of the same education programs that staff the public schools. Some of the rest are run by left-wing apostate nuns.
The Left got control of the accreditation agencies and use their power to FORCE private schools to do as they demand.
Way back in 2011: After examining the official web sites of 244 Catholic universities and colleges in America, the TFP Student Action found that 107 – or 43% have pro-homosexual clubs.
