Dan Crenshaw was officially groomed as one of George Soros’ “Young Global Leaders” just a few years ago. He needs to be exiled just like Cheney ASAP.

I think Crenshaw wants a unified Republican front and he loathes Republicans who are out to be social media stars and playing to the base rather than sticking to their jobs.
And in a way, he's right. Congress has become the ugly people version of Hollywood just as Fred Thompson predicted.
When has someone like AOC been to her district and actually talked to her constituents? I mean, I love MTG to death but every other day she is taking photos, attending these rallies with Gaetz, etc. Even about 10 years ago this would be unheard from members of Congress.
Now again, I'm just speculating that this is Crenshaw's point of view. I think he's morphing into a House version of McCain. It remains to be seen.
you’re right-—he was playing it for all it was worth-—the Conservs wre celebrating him and deriding Pete Davidson, who is an ass, but is now way more famous for being a Kardashian. Crenshaw would rather play on their team...let him.Cheney has no future and neither does he (hint: if someone seems too good to be true he probably is.)
The guy has been a fairly obvious fake for a while. His eyepatch reminds me of McCain and his use of his “torture,” for political gain.
When he supported that I came down firmly against him.
When you are ready to strip someone of their basic right without arrest and conviction then there is something very wrong with your moral compass.

This is probably closer to the truth than a lot of other hot takes. I don't hold anything particularly for or against Crenshaw, people are allowed to be complicated and they don't all have to agree with the point of view I think they should have. I think just like McCain, Crenshaw likes the political spotlight and loves doing the whole "clown nose on/clown nose off" bit criticizing other politicians for publicity-gaining stunts that he himself has used.
I'd like to know what, other than being born the daughter of Dick Cheney qualifies Liz Cheney to be a leader in the House of Representatives. Her entire life's work has been walking through doors opened by her father's political pull and in the only two times in her political career she was called on to make a gutsy decision, she blew it both times (badly fumbling a position on gay marriage when her own sister was in a gay marriage, and the whole Trump impeachment stuff). Those two incidents reveal her character as spineless and the voters of Wyoming are apparently wising up to the fact.
