Congrats to the leg humpers and I wish them all this Georgia greeting, “squeal like a pig.”

What planet are you on? UGA got embarrassed in the SECCG.

Congrats to UGA, been a long 40 years.

What a great game!
The Georgia Defense really came through.
As a Duck fan, I’m fairly excited about Dan Lanning coming out here to Oregon.
And our first preseason game will be against the Bulldogs.
GO DUCKS!

Well, no need to go home after work and watch the damned thing my wife recorded for me.

Wasn’t there some mattress guy who lost a million betting on the Tide?

This Gator fan was impressed by the grit and the determination of the Dawgs. Maybe it’s time for a new SEC era.

Hate it when ESPN and NFL Network run at the bottom of the screen the final score of the game you’re watching. They could fix that but they don’t. Oh well, channel gets changed, less eyes for commercials.

Congrats to the Bulldogs! You were the better team tonight.

That’s what matters. It was a hotly contested game. And that’s what you want in a championship game. Good play on all sides. And the thrashing Georgia took from Alabama in the SEC championship game made this victory all the sweeter for the Dawgs.

To hold Alabama to only one touchdown was the most impressive of all.

**The Georgia Defense really came through.**

Would they have against the Tide’s star receivers? I didn’t watch either game. I just hate to see games decided by injuries.

The first game showed that they couldn’t handle both Williams and Metchie on the field.

Georgia won last night (with an asterisk).

Georgia lost their quarterback, who was expecting to be amongst the finalists for the Heisman Trophy, for pretty much the entire season.

Bama almost lost to our terrible team this year. That alone tells you this was not one of Saban’s better Bama teams. Should have lost to Auburn as well. I think honestly, UGA didn’t take them seriously for the SECCG, also they knew that they were in the playoffs even if they lost the game, so maybe they didn’t pull out all the stops.

Remember, twice Bama lost in the regular season/or SECCG and got their revenge in the National Championship Game, against LSU and Georgia. Now it was their turn to be on the other side.

The tide’s second string receivers had to play like first stringers right away, not back in October. But they didn’t have all those regular season games with Young to get to develop the edge they needed.

Second string Qbs can be equally effective as the starter, sometimes more so. Georgia found that out against the Tide a few years ago.

I remember watching Johnny Rogers of Nebraska way back. An example of what a receiver does after catching the ball that gives defensive coordinators nightmares.

I still consider that 71 Nebraska team the greatest college team ever.

Had OU beat them in “The Game of the Century”, I might have said the same about that OU team.

Ohio State won a title with a backup qb late in the season not that long ago.

Playmakers. That’s why my Hawkeye friends back in NW IL can only brag about their defense. Iowa rarely has a big time playmaker.

Where I lived in IL for over 62 yrs was just 1 1/2 hours from Iowa City. Lots of Hawkeye fans in the neighborhood. A few miles from me was two farmers whose barns were across the road from each other. One painted his Iowa colors, the other Illinois.

If Georgia wins another title they will have 4, and be tied with that powerhouse school nicknamed.....

The fighting illini.

I don’t think it was so much the wait that made UGA fans crazy, it was seeing Bama, Florida, Auburn, LSU and Tennessee all winning Natties since their last one that drove them nuts.
