Multiple sources connected to the iconic comedian and actor -- most famous for his starring role as Danny Tanner in 'Full House' -- tell us he passed away Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
The Sheriff's Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 PM ET ... after hotel security had found Bob in his room. We're told he was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.

Buddy was incredibly funny. Just seeing him on The Tonight Show was hilarious enough, but his HBO specials were face-palming-did-he-really-say-that hysterical.

Chestnut Hill. I grew up on Harvey. I was a Fox & Leonard fan of WMMR which was piped into my art class, where I spent most of my free time in high school in 1976, 1977.
Harvey was the best. We still hold Groundhogs day as a sacred holiday and we still hang out overalls for sparrows to nest in.

You know, if it was just natural causes after he did a two-hour show that was so satisfying that he felt the need to tweet about it, well, that’s probably not a bad end at all for a comedian.
Still too young, though.

There was a great collection of comedy albums that would play at get-togethers (Pat Cooper comes to mind, and “Laugh of the Party” on Coral). Years later, I found there also existed a whole slew of the likes of Woody Woodbury and Rusty Warren albums. They seem cornball now, but they were ahead of their time, and never got the credit for being groundbreakers like Lenny Bruce.

“Redd Foxx was another one.”
Then you obviously never listened to any of his old comedy albums.

I’ve noticed when it comes to wholesome roles there seems to be a pattern to cast the exact opposite in terms of the real life actor. Stephen Collins as the minister in Seventh Heaven comes to mind. The casting people know and I think it’s their big FU to the normals.
